She smiled her gap-toothed smile
The color of yellow dressed her heart
Of happiness and hope and style
And pieces of sunny artHer smile grew more teeth
As her hair grew longer
Her heart became a tinted green
For she had met the songbirdThen the songbird became her only friend
For together they had conquered the world
Loving the songbird made her heart red
As the songbird made her heart unfurlThen one day the songbird whispered goodbye
To the girl's whose heart was red
And the girl left the next sunrise
To find herself a softer bedLeaving turned her heart blue
For she missed the songbird so
The songbird had shown that too
For the songbird felt she would love to knowThe songbird sang once every day
And the girl could hear his song
She longed to hear and play
But she told herself to be strongBut being strong made her heart grey
And she didnt let anyone inside
All she need was to stay
And keep herself aliveBut her heart had became a depthless black
But she kept stopping and calling
She promised she'd see him when she got backBut the next time the songbird saw her,
she was in a coffin
