One night mondo drifted into sleep and found himself in a void with the soft sound of an execution playing , he began running towards the sound, he didn't want to but his legs carried his weight anyway , suddenly he burst into bright daylight and a crowd of people cheating and holding up signs then above the heads he saw familiar black fluffy hair, he pushed through person after person desperately , he burst out of the crowd to hear the execution kyaic blare louder and see ishimaru tied to a vehicle with tight chains, machinery forcing his head to turn side to side and his hand to wave, his breathing was heavy . Mondo scanned ishimaru then started to run down the street towards him in the center " taka?!" he called his name but taka tried opening his mouth to open only for the machinery to tighten and cut his jaw, mondo felt his heart race as the music started to speed up " taka dont worry ill- I'll find a way to save you!" he shouted but as he reached his hands towards take the music dropped and as mondo's hand grasped taka's leg a bullet whizzed above mondo , embedding into taka's side, taka flinched then more were shot and taka's right half became soaked with bright blood, the vehicle stopped, the people waving sighs that mondo just realised had " genius" printed on them quit and backed away and the machinery holding taka up unlatched, mondo could just stand there with his blood splattered face, hair and arm grasping at thin air as he felt his world spin as the silence wise rex and muttered to him , as the daylight like lights slowly dulled . He felt hotly tears run down his face as all he could force out was " nononono not again...no ...not….again?". He gave in and crumpled to his knees then felt a hand on his shoulder shaking him lightly but he was too shocked to look back " mon-" he heard distance " mondo" the voice echoed " mondo?" It was louder , it sounded like- " mondo!" Taka's worried town snapped mondo awake and he realised tears stained his face as he stared at taka his heart fluttering , he sat up, taka was sitting up next to him with a worried and tense expression " mondo are you ok?" Taka asked sternly, mondo just ran his hand through taks's soft hair then cheek staring into those red eyes for a bit then smiled " thank god" he whispered under his breath " it was just a dream in fine now" he assured taka who nodded " alright, we should go meet the others for breakfast soon." he smiled, mondo felt his face heat up " heh alright you damned cutie" he laughed then got up, giving take a tight, warm  hug before getting ready.
