Time to make a move

Jaden pushed the syringe up Jerry’s arm swiftly to take his blood smoothly with Xavier behind him watching with a nod. Then Xavier went to see his other intern to see how Lillian was doing.

“Wow! You have improved drastically.” Jerry complimented making him nod his head in agreement. He did feel better about his studies.

“I did do better thank you to you.” Jaden gave his patient the toothy smile, pulling Jerry’s sleeve down gently.

“Thanks to me?” Jerry laughed at the great joke. Why thank him? This doctor definitely knows how to crack a joke.

“Yeah, you were the first patient I took blood from.” Jaden answers feeling so accomplished.

Jerry’s jaw dropped to his lap with a shocked look, “if only I knew I would run away from you.” He said making Jaden laugh now. He put a hand on Jerry’s shoulder getting back to his serious phase.

“I really need to thank you. You have been with me and helped me improve.” Jaden smiles and Jerry nodded. He has lived his seventy years and never seen such a doctor who cares so much for their patients before.

“You’re a great doctor. Please keep it up.” Jerry put his hand on Jaden’s shoulder and they both nodded firmly. Before Jaden stood up to leave for his other patients, he took out a small box of patches and handed it to Jerry.

“Don’t forget our deal.” Jaden smiled and walked away. Jerry’s lips turned into a soft curve looking down at the box in his hand that labeled ‘stop smoking patches.’

Xavier was surprised that Lillian had stopped flirting with her patients and gotten down to real business. He examined her from the past few days and realized that she skips her lunches at times to go learn from other doctors that were able to teach her.

“Gary you have regular blood pressure and heart beat. You might be able to be discharge tomorrow.” Lillian hugs her clipboard to her chest.

“I can go home tomorrow?” Gary asks excitedly and Lillian nodded.

“You are free tomorrow. Out of this cell.” She pumped her fist in the air and the patient kept thanking her. Xavier turns towards his intern and nodded approvingly.

“You have developed progress.” Xavier remarks which made Lillian smile softly. She finally made improved in something good in her life. She had to keep it up and not fail her friends and family.

Jasmine walked down the neuro hall with Shane right beside her keeping silent like always to hear new things from other doctors and learn from them.

“The brain weighs about three pounds and is the most important part in our body because it controls everything from what we think to our senses.” Jasmine just loves talking about the brain to her little interns.

“The heart also plays an important role too.” Shane smiles at Jasmine’s ball of energy inside her.

“Well, brain is way cooler. Just everything about it is soo mysterious and interesting!” Jasmine exaggerated putting her hands up and giggles. Shane just nodded and listened to Jasmine go on and on about her favorite subject. Outside he might seem just fine but in the inside he really missed having to work with Rose. She was the absolute sweetest girl he has ever seen in his life. To him, she was so bubbly and can grant smiles to anyone’s faces when she’s around. When will she get accepted back into Jasmine’s service?

Alyson took Athena to the hospital that day to visit her new grandfather. They just exited the school’s building and went to Ethan’s restauraunt hoping he can tag along with them.
