Ashton's POV
Rose has been amazing, she's been FaceTimeing me every night just to see if I was ok. She's now officially my girlfriend and I'm still trying to recover from shock.
Flashback to the day after the 'incident'
Uhh... I'm so glad I'm out of hospital I hate it in there. everyone judging you because of why your in there. Thank Jesus I'm out. I'm back at school with the others today and I have to say that this is the one time I'm glad I'm at school. It means I don't have to worry about everyone asking where I was when I was off.
"Ashton? Can I talk to you?" I was cut out of my thoughts when Rose approached me at break.
"Sure? what is it?" I asked. I knew what it was about.
"Yesterday, I was so scared that I might loose you. I didn't think I could live with myself after picking you up." I noticed that we were holding hands and she was crying silently. "I wouldn't be able to forgive myself if you had gone. I could've driven faster or I could've done more to stop the bleeding and--"
"Rose. I'm still here and even though I hate this planet, it's better with you. I would never try to kill myself. I wouldn't put you though that. Or the others for that matter." Rose nodded. "Also, I was wondering if yo would maybe like to be my girlfriend?" I almost whispered.
"YES YES YES FUCK YES!" Rose screamed out. Everyone in the playground was looking at us like I had just told her she won the lottery. "Ehem... I mean... Yeah sure" after that we laughed, hugged and then headed off to English class.
End flashback
I chuckled at the memory. But snapped back to life by someone shoving me against a locker.
"Hey! look who's showed his ugly face here today!" God... not again. It's a guy called James.
"Lay off. Please?"
"No, I heard that you were in hospital with Rose at the weekend."
"What? how did you know that?"
"What? It doesn't matter. But stay away from her you freak."
"Why should I stay away from her?"
"Because we all know she's mine. Not yours."
"Ehem? Am I allowed a say in who I belong to? because I belong to Ash." Rose said while pulling me into a hug. I love my sassy lassie.
"But he's a freak. Rose you know you want to be with me." James said to her giving me the death glare.
"No, James. I'm really sure that I don't want to be with a scumbag like you."
"Rose. I really really like you. He will just call into hospital time after time. All he will use you for is something to cut instead of his wrists. He will hurt you." He was getting uncomfortably close to Rose.
"I swear if you say anything like that again I will slap you." Rose threatened. Did I mention that Rose is reallllly assertive. It's hot.
"Try me." He whispered in her ear.
"FUCK OFF OF MY GIRLFRIEND" I yelled at James. Everyone in the corridor stopped and stared at me. "SHES MINE. I LIVE HER SO JUST GET THE FUCK OUT." I was screaming at him right in his face. Tears were rolling down my face. I was scared to loose Rose to James. I was scared that she would think I would hurt her. I was bloody petrified.
