fury.

it burned within me like a spreading gas fire.

With the torn piece of note balled up in my fist, i marched home, huffing.

After Jackie gave me that envelope containing the note, i ripped it up and marched out of the restaurant. If i hadn't, then i swear i would have snapped a poor waiters neck.

i was fuming

My Motorcycle was broken beyond repair. its parts exploded all over the parking lot.

I wiped a hot angry tear that slipped out of the corner of my eye and raked my greasy hand through my hair frustratedly. What was i going to tell mom and dad when they came back from work on the weekends? It would be hard to hide it from them since i was so evidently excited about riding that beast around town. Even though they weren't home during most of the week, when they did come home they always found a reason to yell at me. it was there way of 'staying in my life' i guess.

Hell, how was i even going to explain it to them?

I walked up to our driveway, dread gnawing at my belly, hoping Benjamin wasn't in the clearing. Unfortunately, he was, now sipping on a steaming cup of coffee. Seeing me approach the house, Benjamin looked up at me, his brows knotting together at my appearance.

"Noah, it looks like you were dragged backward out of a thorn bush, what on earth happened?" Benjamin asked, he placed his mug on the bench he was sitting at.

"I-- "

"and wheres your motorcycle? Don't tell me you were mugged!" Benjamin eyes zeroed on my bandages and the grease that was smeared all over me and my clothes.

"I-I crashed." I stuttered without thinking.

"So why didn't you bring it back? You have insurance--"

"Benjamin Just shut up! My bike is broken beyond repair, OK?"

"Noah, you don't know that though! and insurance can cover the expenses if that what you're worried--"

"I crashed into a tree, and my bike caught on fire! I don't think they can repair a shattered bike thats burnt into crisp!"I yelled, my fists shaking.

with that I stalked off to my room, slamming each door i walked into. I think i maybe even cried, i don't know. But i know i was throwing punches at my wall like it was a punching bag.

after a few minuets of that, I finally fell down on to my bed staring down at my feet, my head swirling with violent thoughts and feelings.

The next day at school, i dreaded seeing Jacob, Despite him being supportive towards me at the scene. To be honest i was embarrassed. In my anger episodes, i turn into... someone else. My hands and body do violent things on impulse, things i can't take back. I know i have to face him though. In any case, i need to thank him. He took care of me and the motorcycle, even after i left. i owe that guy big time.

speaking of the devil, he's in my first lesson, so theres no dodging him now.

"Bulldog." Jacob gestured for me to come sit next to him.

I flopped down next to him. "i owe you big time Jacob." i deadpanned.

"Yes, you do bro. We had to clean that place up after you left. it was a mess."

"Sorry, its just, when i get mad, i get really, really, mad so i--"

"I get it." Jacob cut me off with a serious tone. "This is not going happen again, and we're cool, aight?"

I nodded vigorously.

Loosing friends after the second day was not the move. And anyway, i loved this guy. He wasn't full of him self like the other popular guys i had back home in my old school. He was down to earth and humble. Even if he was blunt, he was a keeper.

"I't won't happen again. Because I'm going to kill that son of a-"

"Speaking of which, did you find out what it was talking about?" Jacob asked, suddenly remembering the card Jackie pulled out from the burning bike.

i shook my head, rubbing the temple of my head with my thumbs. I was too tired for this, i barely slept last night, staring at that dumb piece of paper.

"All i know, Jacob, is that I'm being targeted by a maniac who burns out motorbikes."

Jacob sighed, putting the end of is pencil to his lips.

"We'll find whoever did this. I promise."

I couldn't help but smile at that. "I swear to it, we will"

I slouched back in my chair, pulling the prices of paper out of my jeans pocket, and examining them again.

liar, liar, pants on fire,So is your bike,So is your life!

Its stringed with liars and lies,And so are you.

And liars deserve to burn in the pits of hell.

this person seemed to know so much about me, it scared me. lies? Those neatly looped letters stirred up so many questions in me. When have i ever lied about anything so big? well except for the bike running into a tree and exploding. With a sigh, i shoved the bits of papers into my pocket. just as i did i felt the hairs at the back of my neck raise, i felt eyes shoot holes in my back. I turned around slightly in my chair, turning my head over my shoulders.

Staring back at me were wide, unblinking, pale eyes. Bella's wasn't staring at me.

she was glaring at me.

like i stole her cookies her mom made her for lunch or something.

i turned to face he front quickly, breaking eye contact first, feeling totally creeped out.
