Chapter 2 - The Truth
Seraphina -
John's house 6:53 pm
Seraphina just stared at him in disbelief, her best friend just told her that he's not a cripple.
"W-what do you mean you not a cripple" she said with anger in her eyes "so you mean to tell me that this whole time we've known each other you've been lying to me, why" she felt hurt that John keep that big of a secret from her " you better have a reason or I'll walk out and find somewhere else to stay"
"I didn't want you or anyone else to see me as a monster" he said tears in his eyes " it all started 2 years ago..."

'She probably hates me now after all I've done to change I'm still a-' his thoughts were cut off by arms wrapping around him in a warm embrace
"I don't think you're a monster" she said "if you were willing to tell everyone you're a cripple and risk getting beat up everyday then you obviously learnt something" she let go of him "now can you tell me what happened to you"
He explain to her the fight Between him, Meili, Ventus and Arlo the occurred earlier that day
Anger filled in her she was ready to throw some hands (I'm sorry I had to uwu)
"Arlo, he's always been so focused on the hierarchy" if this was a cartoon she would have smoke coming out her ears "you need to get healed, I'll call Elaine"
"Sera, I want you to know I don't want anyone else to know It was already hard enough to tell you" she nodded her head and walked away
'Arlo you're lucky this time screw up again and I'll dethrone you in front everyone' his thoughts were cut off by Seraphina walking back in the room
"So what is your ability anyway"
"Oh it's Ability Mimicry, meaning I can copy anyone's ability as long as their ability is activated"
"Really that's cool but not as cool as mine" she joked

Knock knock knock
"That must be Elaine" Seraphina said walking over to the front door
"H-hi Seraphina you need-" she stopped in her tracks once she saw him "what's he doing here"
"Bitch I live here" he fired back
"Elaine can you just heal him" Seraphina said Obviously annoyed
"O-ok" she said walking over to John glaring at him as Seraphina walked out of the room. She started to heal him annoyed that she has to heal him.
"Ugh I have to waste my precious energy on you. you always are getting in to fights you can't win"
He chuckled at the last sentence she said remembering the last fight he had
" what are you laughing at"
Then he sensed her aura it's weakened 'she must have been with arlo before this I think she should leave before she realizes'
"I uh think you've healed me enough I'll just go to doc tomorrow" he said pulling he other arm away
"Hey give me your arm so I can finish and leave already" she said grabbing his arm with force
"OWWW" he yelled out of pain
As she was healing him she inspected his wounds 'him arm is completely shattered' a sudden realization came over her 'his injury seems familiar but why... his wounds Meili's claws and Arlo's barrier'
"N-no it can't be..."
"Elaine"
"THERE'S NO WAY YOU COULD'VE BEAT ARLO" right then at that moment Seraphina walked in the room.
'Oh no she found out' she thought "Elaine you need to calm down you can't tell anyone, got it?" Elaine shook her head yes "ok good you can leave now" hearing those words she got and walked right out the door not looking back.
Arlo -
The next day
At Wellston High school
He still had a few bruises so he went to the infirmary to heal up. Right then at that moment he saw John walking down the hall and for the first ever he felt scared. he looked away not wanting to look in his eyes. He heard him chuckle at him which made him a little angry.
"Don't worry you can keep your throne, for now" John said as they bumped arms walking away with a sly smirk on his face
'What have I gotten myself into' Arlo thought as he continued to walk to the infirmary
