Sapphires P.O.V

"Sapphire." I said looking into his emerald eyes as he gazes in mine. His eyes are beautiful... It looks like a Emerald. While I was starting into his eyes I felt something stinging on my leg and cringed and hissed a little and saw that the yellow fox is dabbing something on my leg.

"Sorry Sapphire, I should have warned you." I heard the fox apologised to me

"It's ok..." I looked down in sadness

"I'm sorry about the village... Do you have anywhere else to live?" I looked up to Sonic and shook my head

"I called the rest to come, Sonic." I looked up to the fox again getting confused

"What rest?" He questioned, I looked at the fox giving him a look 'you know who'.

"Oh, them." I giggled at Sonic's comment, the yellow fox shook his head and dabs my leg again and I cringed more and felt something on my hand. I look to see that Sonic is holding my hand, I looked up seeing him.

"It's going to be ok." Sonic said calmly and I nodded a bit shyly and looked to the fox's tails swaying up and down.

"I haven't got your name yet. What's your name?" I said looking up to him.

"Oh, sorry about that, I'm Miles Prowler but everyone calls me Tails." I nodded

"It's nice to meet you, Tails. And thanks for helping my leg." Tails smiles.

"Ha, no problem." I smiled back and looked to Sonic

"Oh, heh, my name is Sonic. If you don't know me."

"I've heard of you a couple of times." I laughed a little that made Sonic smile.

"And thanks for saving me back there... I thought it was the end for me."

"Your welcome." I tightened my hand that Sonic was holding and started to smile

"Now I haven't seen you smile... I want to promise you something."

"Yeah?" I was a bit curious... What's the promise? I hope it isn't bad.

"Promise me you will smile when this is done..." That's not bad... I haven't been smiling in a long time...

"I... I promise." He smiled. Then I just remembered something... That emerald that I found! I pulled my other hand out and opened it revealing the Purple emerald. I looked to Sonic and asked him

"Sonic, do you know anything about this emerald?" When I looked at his face he was surprised.

"Tails! Look, she found a Chaos Emerald!" Tails looked at the emerald and was surprised as well.

"... Chaos Emerald?" Sonic nodded his head

"Yes, it's a Chaos Emerald, they are very powerful emeralds... So that's why Eggman destroyed the village." I sighed

"Ok, I'm done Sapphire. Can I have the Chaos Emerald?" I nodded and gave it to him.

"How come it's so special?" I began to ask

"It has lots of energy in it, so it could make robots stronger and sometimes break some inventions I make. But also Sonic can use them for his battles, collect all seven he will turn Super Sonic." Hmm... This seems a bit interesting. But Super Sonic? What's that?

"Oh..." I was a bit confused. Some how Sonic saw my face then saying

"When I'm Super Sonic my fur turns golden and my eyes turn red I can fly and I'm really strong." Ohhhh ok! I nodded knowing now. Till I heard someone running? Huh? I turn to see a Echidna I thought it was Katana but it's someone else. My smile disappears and I looked down. Sonic notices me and look back to see the Echidna.
