Prologue:
I have a constant thirst, not a thirst for any normal drink, my throat is always dry, crying out for something to drink, water wont quench my great thirst, no matter how much I drink I am still thirsty. It is not water that I crave...it is blood....I wait until that one lost soul comes wandering into my lair where I slowly emerge from the darkness and sink my fangs into their neck. They try to scream but they can't. Soon, they just fall limp in my hands and I leave them there to rot away until nothing is left. I am not a normal person, I am a beast in human form, I cannot go out into the sun otherwise I will turn to a pile of dust. There are many names for me, but the most common is...Vampire....
Chapter 1: I am not the only vampire, there is a whole race of vampires and we have been living amongst the humans for centuries, of course they don't know we exist but there has been more and more unexplained and the humans are starting to get curious and exploring the world outside theirs. There is a third race; the vampire hunters. They hunt down any vampires and they kill them but they don't use normal human weapons, they don't affect us. They have different weapons that won't hurt humans but can kill vampires almost instantly if they are shot in a vital part of their body. There has been a war raging between the Vampire and the Vampire Hunters for years and it is only growing and the humans have been stuck in the middle of our constant fighting. Currently the Vampire Hunters have the upper hand and we are quickly loosing vampires. Because we have become so desperate there are only a few of us 'purebloods' that can turn a human into a vampire by simply biting them we are starting to turn more and more humans into vampires making the humans curious about the sudden disappearances. At the moment my friends and I don't have a major part in this fight we have just been hiding away in a little cave for most of our lives. We have been surviving on the blood of animals, I know it isn't the nicest thing but at least it helps us keep our sanity and stop us losing control and carelessly taking people's lives. So my friends and I being the crazy people we are, or should I say vampires were just mucking about outside our cave. We are generally stronger and faster than humans and we can jump higher and things like that. Angelous and Vanya were racing each other up a tree jumping from branch to branch then when they reached the top they would take one giant leap and usually land on their feet except this time Angelous landed on her face...Zale and Sable were having a sparring round except our version of sparring was a lot rougher than the humans version, they would go chasing each other at super speed through the dense bush around our cave then tackle each other halfway down a hill. While Lee and I were practicing our hunting skills by chasing down any animals that we could find even if it included jumping up a tree or running for ten kilometres. While I was chasing a rabbit I ran past a small group of humans that were heading straight for our cave I immediately turned around and ran straight back to our cave to try and warn the others. By the time I got there the humans were just about to walk into the little clearing that we were in. I tried to get everybody looking as normal as possible but it was too late. When the humans walked into the clearing Angelous and Vanya were halfway up a tree, Lee came running back at super speed trying to find me. I was wondering where Zale and Sable were when I heard laughing behind me and I saw them both tackling each other down a hill showing their fangs when they stood up. When they saw the humans they froze and tried to hide their fangs, but it was too late. The humans already saw them knew straight away that we were all vampires. They started screaming and running away. "I never knew humans could run that fast" I said "Well I guess when you are a human and you realise you are surrounded by a group of bloodthirsty vampires you would want to get the heck out of there."Replied Angelous "That's true" I said in agreement. "Well we should start leaving before the hunters start hunting us" said Zale "Mmmmmm" Replied Lee as we all started packing up our few belongings.

Chapter 2:
We were exhausted after trudging through the forest for days on end. We finally decided to stop and set up a small camp. We lit a small fire that was just big enough to keep us warm but not to draw any attention to us. The hunters are probably already hunting us down. It is guaranteed that those humans went straight to the police to report us. There are some hunters working in the police force in case they got stories of vampires. We had to be especially careful with Sable around; the hunters have been hunting her for years after her family completely destroyed one of their main bases. One night when she was nine they killed her whole family; she managed to escape killing a few hunters on the way. We then found her wondering around in the forest, lost. We let her into our group and taught her everything we know about fighting and the hunters and how to scavenge for food and to survive all alone in the forest. Since then we haven't had any major problems with the hunters hunting us but now it is guaranteed that they will definitely be on our trail within the next 24 hours. We settled down with a small meal of wild vegetables and berries. Even if they were poisonous they wouldn't harm us. We are completely immune to any human diseases. It will only affect us if it is made by the hunters in a way that can kill us almost instantly. "soo what are we gonna do now that the hunters are probably on our trail?" asked Lee "I dunno keep running, try to keep out of their sight." I replied "But what happens if they catch us?" asked Sable "We simply try to kill those mother fuckers before they kill us" I replied "Isn't it kinda hard to do that, almost impossible? We don't have any weapons to use on them" said Vanya "We can punch them in the face?" stated Angelous. We all turned around and gave her a 'really?' look. We all settled down around the fire in the small blankets we had and slowly fell asleep. Zale stayed up to keep guard. Because we are vampires we don't need as much sleep as humans, we can go a week without sleeping at all so Zale can easily stay up all night. I was woken abruptly by Zale screaming "THEY'RE HERE, THEY HAVE FOUND US!!!"

He got up and sprinted into our little camp shaking us roughly to wake us up. We were slow at first but when we realised what was happening we were running as fast as we possibly could out of that camp. We did not stop running or turn around but we still knew they were chasing us. I heard a loud bang come from behind us then something went wizzing past my ear. "Crap, they're shooting at us" I yelled as I heard another bang this time it narrowly missed my leg. I heard someone running through the bushes next to us. I turned around and what do you expect more hunters. 'Well that's just great, more hunters' I thought to myself. I looked around and saw one of the hunters face light up as he spotted Sable. 'Shit that's even worse' I thought. They must have a special way of communicating with each other without actually talking because they all turned to face Sable and started smiling. Slowly they were all starting to steer more towards her as if planning to capture her first. "UM, SABLE" I yelled. She gave me a questioning look "they are all chasing YOU!" She turned around and a look of fear crossed her face. It was so unlike her to be scared but I guess when you have about 30 hunters on your tail you would be pretty scared. They all started shooting at her. She tried to dodge the bullets as best as she could but one got her in the leg. She fell to the ground screaming in agony while a small group of hunters surrounded her roughly pulling her to her feet dragging her to a small van where they forcefully pushed her in and slammed the door loudly then drove off leaving us extremely confused as to why they didn't just kill us all then and there.
SABLE'S POV:
"Owww, crap" I whined as they pushed me into the van making me land on my injured leg in the middle of another group of hunters. As soon as I was in the van one of them grabbed both my wrists and handcuffed them behind my back while another was chaining my ankles together making my leg hurt even more. It was a horrible ride the road was extremely rough and bumpy and every time the van went over a bump it would bring a fresh wave of pain from my leg while all the hunters were making fun of me and kicking me around. All I wanted was for that trip to end but right now I am wishing I was back in that van because that is a lot nicer then it is in here.
