Chapter 41: Meeting Them Again
[Kagura's POV]
I yawned while combing my hair, sitting on the chair in front my desk and mirror. Yesterday was a really tiring day for me, Alu-sama was always teasing me from since we became friends.
I smiled after remembering the things that happened at those moments. The water was cold but our warmth was evident, I've been feeling more comfortable with the demon hunter now.
Our bond of trust seems so unbreakable for me. I couldn't think about Haya-kun that day when we were having so much fun already. I hoped the time actually became a little longer. I could've been more happier.
Suddenly, the door creaked, making my head turn to the direction of the sound only to see Alu-sama just near.
I smiled gently at him. "I-is there something w-wrong?" I asked.
"I want to go out again... " he monotonely stated, I looked at him in a confused manner.
"A-alright, is that so? I-I wouldn't want to b-bother your walk. " I stated and went on back to combing but he cleared his throat, earning my attention.
"I want to go out... With you. " he finished, pointing directly at me. I pointed myself in the process like always.
"W-with me? B-but we already d-did so yesterday. " I giggled and he looked away from me.
"It's not that. I just want to go shopping and I don't know what I should buy. Or maybe I just want to help you with yours. " he took a rolled scroll from his pockets and showed it to me before rolling it down the ground towards my feet.
I read all the things in the list but there was nothing but TOMATOES!
I looked back at him and smiled.
"F-fine, I'm coming only because the l-list is a little... Uhhh... It's missing some th-things." I said, he nodded his head and pulled the scroll up.
"Alright, get ready we're living in ten minutes. " he said and then closed my door.
Alu-sama and I've been super close lately. He always would keep up on everything that I'm doing and he won't go anywhere without me by his side.
I couldn't blame him. I've been the only friend he had for the recent six months of us being together with each other.
I smiled at the door and closed my eyes. I giggled to myself, thinking of how clingy the demon hunter has been with me. Last time I could remember it was that he'd hate me and get annoyed so fast.
It's a miracle that I somehow made him change my mind about me. I'm blessed to have someone like him, I've never have been protected so much in my whole life.
I finished up getting ready and cooked our breakfast like no other day. Wearing the locket I bought for the two of us, it looked pretty and I didn't want to waste its beauty.
"Hey, Kagu-chan! Where are you going anyway? You seem dressed up. I mean, we can't change clothes unless we have our skins but still, you look good. " Harith-san asked me as my attention shifted towards him.
"A-alu-sama and I are g-going somewhere. " I answered while cupping his cute cheeks.
"Like a date? " Akai-kun just appeared from nowhere with a grim smirk on his face.
"N-no it's not th-that! We're just g-going shopping. Th-that's all. " I tried to hide my blush from them wait... Why am I blushing?
"Doesn't look like it. C'mon we won't get mad. " Kimmy-chan winked at me as she came out from the living room.
