I will never forget you, but I will move on

One day Cassia was working in her shop while Aries was at school, when Ernie Macmillan came in. It wasn't unusual to see wizards here, but no one her age had come into Cassia's shop, except her friends.

"Hey Cassia. Long time no see!", he greeted her. "Hey Ernie! How have you been? I haven't heard from you since", Cassia quickly made sure, no one but them was in the shop. "Since we got the Orders of Merlin. What do you do now?" "I work at the department of Internatiomal Magical Cooperation in the International Magical Office of Law. I heard you owned a shop and wanted to check it out. Seems really nice.", he told her. "If you want I can give you a tour while no one's here.", she offered, which Ernie accepted smiling.

Cassia invited Ernie to lunch at Grimmauld Place, which he happily accepted. He had a day off and wanted to know how Cassia was doing, since he hadn't heard from her since she got the Order of Merlin First Class for fighting Voldemort with Harry, Ron and Hermione.

Cassia had changed the house of the Black's a lot. The heads of former houselves had been properly buried, some dark wallpapers had been changed to lighter tones, the family tree had been repaired and extended, now Tonks, Teddy and Aries were part of the family tree.
A lot of furniture had been changed while respecting the old style.
The piece of Wall where Walburga Black's portrait hung had been ripped out and replaced, which had been the only way to remove the painting, which now resided in the attic.

All in all, the house had become quite beautiful.

Cassia started to cook and Ernie helped her. As soon as the food was on the table, the door was opened.
Confused, Ernie looked in the direction of the hallway. He hadn't known that Cassia lived with someone.

A little boy with short, black hair and grey eyes walked in and ran to Cassia to hug her. "How was school?" "Great! Look! I drew a picture for you!", he told her proudly and pulled a piece of paper out of his bag.
It was a pickture with two stick figures, a small one with something dark on it's head and a big one with an orange mob on the head. They stood on a green field next to a house.

"It's beautiful!", Cassia exclaimed, looking proudly at Aries. She flicked her wand and the paper flew into the hallway, out of sight. "I've added it to the others. You are really getting better!", she told the young boy.

"Aries, this is Ernie Macmillan. An old friend of mine. Ernie, this is Aries Black, my son." Ernie nearly chocked on his own saliva. "I'll explain it later.", she just told him.

The three of them ate together and then returned to Cassia's shop and opened it for the afternoon.
Christmas was approaching and many people, muggles and wizards alike, looked for presents and the shop was extremely busy.

In the following months, Ernie and Cassia met with each other more and more often, to the point that they even went on a few dates.
Cassia had explained everything to Ernie and, while he thought it was weird, he didn't think it changed anything about how he thought of Cassia and Aries.

When Aries was nine, Ernie moved in with them, he had long been Aries' father figure, which the boy had needed.

Only two years later, in Aries' first christmas holidays from Hogwarts Cassia and Ernie got married.
Cassia had given the ring of the Black's to Aries, but still wore the necklace.
The bracelet sat safely in the box she had found it in when she returned, along with the presents she had given to Sirius.
She had moved Sirius' stuff to the attic when she had fallen in love with Ernie.

Of course, Cassia hadn't forgotten Sirius and she still loved him in some way, but she had moved on and found that her love for Ernie and their realtionship was stronger and more stable than anything she had experienced with Sirius.

A year later, Ernie's and Cassia's son was born. They named him Ethan Ernie Macmillan.
Two years later his sister Olivia Cassia was born.

Aries was a lot like his father. Cassia and Ernie constantly recieved letters from the Headmistress about his misbehavings. Like his parents, he was sorted into Gryffindor, though he later told them, the hat had considered Ravenclaw.

The family still had a close bond to the Potters and Weasleys and Cassia was extatic when she was made godmother of her nephew James Sirius Potter, who had been born in 2004.

After school Aries started a career as Auror and was shown to be quite gifted.
When their time came, Ethan was sorted into Hufflepuff and Olivia into Slytherin.
Ernie had risen to the position of Head of the department of International Magical Cooperation and Olivia wanted to do the same one day and become Minister of Magic.
Ethan espired to one day lead the St. Mungos Hospital.

Though the close relationship of the Macmillan children to Aries sometimes almost got in the way of their good grades because of their pranks, they managed to get no grade worse than E.

Aries helped his mother a lot in her shop, which had become quite popular with the muggles, who weren't used to the artstyle Cassia used, which was often used among the wizards.
Aries had certainly inherited his mother's gift for art and his father's creativity.
Ethan and Olivia had no sense for art, but Ethan was a great duellist and could probably pursue a career in that sport if he wanted to and Olivia was a capable craftswoman and had good insticts when it came to construction.

Needless to say, Ernie and Cassia couldn't be more proud of their children.
