1. Lake Trip

Melody's POV

It was another normal day. I woke up and got dressed ready to go to school.

YAY.
Note the sarcasm.

There were 15 days left before school was officially over and I had zero motivation to get up in the morning.

I quickly grabbed my backpack and headed to my neighboring house, getting in the car along with Maddie and Harry.

Yeah ladies and gentlemen it's Harry Peterson I'm talking about.
Let me introduce you to his majesty.

Harry Peterson is basically the jock/ hottie of Wildwood High. Quite justified considering he is captain of the football team, has perfect blue eyes, a god curved body and messy hair NOT TO MENTION HIS GOD DAMN DIMPLES. He literally looks like prince charming. No wonder every girl is drooling over him.

Oh, did I mention he is also my bestfriend?

Harry turned the radio on and asked Maddie to give him one of the cookies she was munching on.

"Get your own" she said as she wrapped her arms around the pack of Chips Ahoy she was holding.

As you can tell Maddie isn't a morning person.

Maddie Peterson. The twin sister of Mr. Prince Charming. She is also popular but not as much. She has brunette hair and blue eyes just like her brother and a gorgeous smile.

What can I say? Good genes run in their family.

After five minutes of Harry and Maddie fighting over her generosity, the car pulled up into the school's parking lot.

I jumped out and gave them both my thank-god-this-ride-is-over face. They didn't bother and continued fighting.

I walked inside the school building and went straight up to my locker. The corridors were filled with students and it made it a lot more difficult to move. When I FINALLY reached my locker Dylan was intensely looking through his locker, right next to mine, throwing books behind him.

Poor creatures who were standing behind him just got hit on the head.

"What are you looking for?" I said getting his attention.

"Physics..I have physics first period and I can't find my books.." he said not paying much attention to me.

Suddenly all contents of his locker were on the floor.

"Shit." he muttered

A pack of condoms right next to my feet..., a few spare Jersey t-shirts..., an English notebook...from last year? Okay..... dog food ? What are you keeping in your locker Dylan?
Apparently, normal every day things.

This was a typical morning with Dylan Jenkins. Dylan is as popular as Harry and they are on the same grade. He might look stupid to you but he is smarter than he looks. He is also really fun to be around. As expected he is super handsome too. He has round greenish eyes and a solid figure, plus he is a role player of the Wildwood football team

Harry and Maddie came in passing by the loads of students.

"Every day is worse than the other" Harry said out of breath.

"It's too hot to be here torturing our brains" Maddie added.

"Well, we have no other choice but endure this torture" I say closing my locker and facing them.

"Or.." Dylan says and closes his locker "we could skip"

I knew he'd say something like that.
