First of all, I'd like to state that I hate Genevieve. Like I really don't like that woman. There's definitely something she's hiding and Uncle Niklaus can't see it. And don't even get me started on him sleeping with her!
Yawning I get up from my bed rubbing my eyes and walked past Klaus's room hearing him making a deal with the red head and I almost barf in my mouth at the tone in their voices as they talk.
"Gross" I mumbled walking down to breakfast and see Dad watching over some men that were renovating the house. When they stopped I watched as Genevieve asked Dad to allow the witches to have some sort of festival.
"Your coven attempted to destroy my family. And you held my siblings in unspeakable torment. And you would like a party for the witches" Dad states looking at her and Uncle Klaus chuckled
"I made my amends with your brother. Why don't you think it over?" She asked looking between Kalus and Dad and I made a gagging sound that made her look at me. I just smirked back before she turned her attention back to dad.
"This young witch you have with you can even be at the festival. She can take the place of the 4th harvest girl" She said putting on a fake smile before leaving.
"You know Uncle Klaus you've become nauseatingly intimate with that witch," I said leaning against my dad
"Well who said keeping alliances couldn't be a little fun?" He replied with that oh so famous Klaus smirk
I rolled my eyes and tuned them out as they began talking about Hayley. She should've been here blah blah blah... I gave up on listening and walked away and into the city for the first time in forever... I feel like theirs a song called that.. hmm nevermind. I walked into the busy city looking around at everyone and everything. I can't believe I missed all this for so long. New Orleans is such a beautiful city. It's a shame that it's subject to constant wars between the supernatural community. But hey that's just life..well to us at least.
Continuing to walk through the city I began to enjoy the music and art it had to offer, but my enjoyment was cut short as my dad pulled my arm making me turn around and look at him.
"Jacqueline you'll be coming with me today," He said curtly and I sigh nodding with a slight frown. I wanted to explore!
"Fine but can I get Beignets and coffee first?" I asked pouting slightly
Dad let out a sigh and nodded walking with me to the cafe.
After taking my sweet time to order beignets and a cappuccino I walked back to my dad and he dragged me along with him around town to tell everyone about the witches' party. Sadly our last stop was the bayou with Hayley and her wolf friends. I just stood there tuning out the conversation whenever Hayley started talking.
Fast forward to me ditching my dad to walk around the city where I bump into the harvest girl trio.
"You're Jacqueline Rose Mikaelson aren't you?" Monique Deveraux asked me and I nodded slightly
"Uh yes, I am..Can I ask how you know of me?" I asked her caution clear in my voice
"Oh, our ancestors told us of you. And Genevieve said that you'd be joining us in the Harvest girl festival" She had a bit venom in her voice when talking about my participation in their festival.
"Oh yeah sorry about that. I know it's a tradition and your other harvest girl should really be with you all" I said awkwardly
She just smiled and me shaking her head.
"No the ancestors would like you to be there as well. Come on you can come with us to get ready"
Before I could object her and the blonde harvest girl grabbed my arms pulling me with them as Davina followed behind. As I was dragged around I got another...whatever you want to call it from the voice...Genevieve wants Esther's spellbook so keep it safe. She going to have someone steal it. Great now I have to warn uncle, Klaus.
Once the sunset the city was alive with excitement as the humans of the city paraded to she the 'witches of New Orleans'. Each of us was dressed as a specific element. I got water which is cool I guess. As we did a display of the elements I made it rain then I stopped it mid-air before pushing it back towards the sky. It was a little tiresome but elemental magic is rather easy so I didn't get a nose bleed or anything drastic.
Once we finished we made our way to the compound and I watched as my dad greeted Davina and she sassed him about Uncle Klaus still me being alive. And of course Genevieve continued to be a kiss-up.
As the night continued Genevieve gave a quick speech as me and the girls sat in front of the crowd. The people then began to bring everyone gifts...except for Davina. She wasn't receiving anything.
As I watched gifts pool at my feet my ears tuned Genevieve's conversation with a blonde-haired woman. I think her name is Camille, Uncle Klaus has talked about her. Soon after Davina left the group to talk to some vampire. His name is Josh. Oh, thanks.
The night was pretty boring form there...Well, that was until a group came in and slit their wrist which caused the vampires to go crazy and Hayley got a little shaken up in the process. Not gonna lie the sent of the blood was getting to me. I never had much of a blood lust since I'm only half-vampire but I still needed it occasionally. And I haven't had any in years...okay now my throat is burning!

In a flashed I was pulled away from the scene by an unknown person. Knowing it wasn't my dad I elbowed the person and threw them against the wall. But by the time I turned around to face them, they were gone...

When I returned to the compound. The bodies were being cleaned up but the blood was still on the walls. I looked around seeing my dad lackeys cleaning. Where is everyone else?

Just as I was bout to ask someone of my family's whereabouts my dad walked in cleaning blood from his hands. He killed someone. No duh little voice! That's obvious.
"Rose where did you go? You had me worried" He asked as he made his way to me
"Someone grabbed me a pulled me out. I'm not sure who though" As I explained I noticed my breathing was a little heavier due to the smell of blood and my overwhelming sense of hunger.
"It's the blood, isn't it? You're hungry" Dad asked concerned
I nodded quickly feeling like I would snap at any moment. In a flash, he was gone and returned almost as quickly as he left. When he returned he had two blood bags probably from the hospital.
"Here drink these," He said handing them to me. I quickly ripped into them, drinking the refreshing liquid.
As I finished both bags and my hunger subsided I looked back at my dad embarrassed as I wiped my mouth.
"Don't be embarrassed. You'll learn to control it. Now it's time for you to go to bed. It's been a long day" he said kissing my forehead before ushering me upstairs.
I sighed walking up to my room falling onto my bed tiredly.

I didn't even get to ask him about who he killed.......
