"I wouldn't let her out of my sight even for a second if it were me. Too many creeps wanting to get their grubby hands on things that don't belong to them." My brother always had a weird way of 'comforting' me. If you can call it that; I knew what he wanted, but I wasn't going to let him take it from me. Not this time. I knew if I hung around she'd see the real me, but she didn't seem to care what she was getting herself into. With what she told me about her mom I couldn't grasp how she still smiled through the day... let alone live...
