Sheila’s POV

“Boy, it’s really hot in here.” I thought to myself while I was lying on my bed with the air conditioner on full blow. It’s already nighttime but the weather’s still really really hot! I was enjoying the peacefulness inside my room when all of a sudden, my phone rang. It was Danielle, one of my best friends! I met her when Harry decided to join the X-Factor. I immediately answered it. “Hi Danielle! I’m so so glad you called! Anyway, what’s up?” I asked.

“Well I just called to say that the boys are gonna go to the beach tomorrow and Harry told me to ask you if you would like to come too.” She said.

The moment I heard Harry’s name, I froze and felt my heart beat faster. It took me a while to answer. “Well uumm would you be there?” I asked. 

“Yes of course and Eleanor’s gonna be there too, so you gonna come?” Danielle asked. 

“Sure why not..Tomorrows gonna be so much fun!” I answered. 

“Cool, We’re gonna pick you up at about 6:30 okay?” She said. 

“Ok, cool with me..see you tomorrow! Bye” I said. 

After our short talk on the phone I hurriedly opened my closet and packed everything I would need. My parents are on a business trip and the only person left here at home with me is our housekeeper, Molly. I’ll just have to tell her my plans for tomorrow so that she won’t worry about me. After everything was settled, I went straight to bed. I can’t seem to get Harry off my head! He has been my very best friend even before X-Factor but these past few days everytime I see him, or just even hear his name, I could feel butterflies in my stomach. I feel nervous and conscious around him! Could it be that I’m falling in love with him? I shook that thought away and tried to sleep because tomorrow is gonna be awesome!

Harry’s POV

It was a hot afternoon when Liam came up with a great idea. “hey guys let’s go to the beach tomorrow!” We all agreed it was a great idea and Liam was a little proud of himself. 

“Hey Liam, why don’t you call Danielle to see if she would like to come with us” Niall said.

“I was just gonna do that.” Liam said. “Oh and tell Danielle to invite Eleanor too.” Louis added. “Okay guys, are there any more requests?” Liam asked. I cleared my throat. “Uumm, Liam could you tell Danielle to ask Sheila too if she would also like to come?” After I said that, they all looked at me. Zayn smiled mischievously and said “You like Sheila don’t you?” I turned red. “Well, I mean she’s my best friend and it’s just proper to also ask her if she wants to come.” I managed to say. 

“Your friend? Whatever you say Harry” Zayn said still smiling.

“Okay, I’ll call Danielle now.” While Liam called Danielle I sat there in silence while Niall, Louis, and Zayn watched tv. I thought about what Zayn said. Sheila has been my best friend even before I joined X-Factor. Since we were classmates, we would always hang-out together at our school yard and some of my friends would even tease us that we would make a perfect couple. We just laughed it off. When I decided to join the X-Factor she was there willing to support me. She was always there when I needed her but now, we seldom hang-out because of our tight and busy schedule. We still text each other everyday, though we don’t get to see each other that often. Now, everytime I see her or even just hear her voice I feel different! I feel nervous and my heart beats faster whenever we’re together. I was so caught up thinking about Sheila and my feelings for her that Louis had to call my name thrice just to get my attention. I saw Niall and Zayn snickering at me but I pretended I didn’t see it.
