Let this moment last forever.
Whenever Lilly strolled during the summer along the beach, her best friend Zoey shouted these words happily at the sky. Indeed, Lilly could never imagine how precious the waves for her are, the several sceneries and experiences. Well, what is a 19-year-old student supposed to understand when she is isolating herself from the world, just to watch her favorite series on Netflix, play various odd video games or learn for a test that is three weeks ahead in attempts to be the best student in class? The young lady was even so frightened that her mind could not stop for a single second to think about the horrific internship that she used to call. Leaving her parents for 4 weeks in Spain, what a disaster. Lilly had surely issues regarding social interaction, communication and independence, which also explained her fear. All in one, you could say, a lack of vocational action skills. Yet she was that kind of girl that stayed motivated, diligent and strong when she had to. She has habits that she is surely proud for, such as, never giving up and always being the best at what she does. How badly Lilly describes herself, her best friends do not consider it like that at all. For them, she always stood the flawless girl with some pride childish issues here or there but nothing more.
"Calm down girl." Lilly's sister Valentine casually enters her room, stealing the cookie right of her hand as she pats on her back in attempts to cheer her up.
Lilly sighs in frustration: "I'm fine."
"Look, you take everything way too serious. Sure, the internship may be annoying, but you forget about the good aspects." Valentine smiles brightly at her.
"And that would be?" Lilly asks hopelessly, resting an arm on the sofa she is lazily sitting.
"It's all about the boys, my lady."
Lilly cringed a little when she heard the word 'Boys' out of her sister's mouth, Valentine. It's not that she has anything against them, but she just gained several bad experiences throughout her educational pathway. Lilly doesn't want to fall for somebody. She is afraid, afraid of the consequences of falling for someone. She usually combines love with unhappiness. Many times she catches herself watching lovers fight, sometimes from her own fellow men and sometimes from movies. Apart from that, she remembers how two boys bullied her in grammar school in front of the whole class, when her entire heart overtook sadness and her trust got abused. Since that day she created this barrier. Another reason might also be that Lilly never met someone that correspond her requirements.
Lilly's style in men was the complete opposite of what the rest of the girls in her age desired. A gentleman, just like in the 80s. Charming looks, elegantly dressed and manners those of a cavalier.
Valentine cuts her thoughts: "Alright, I have to go, sweetie." She yawns, patting on her back and wishing her good luck for tomorrow.
"Good night…", the 19-year-old mumbles under her breath and starts to take a sleep.

Lilly's heart beats like a thunder drum as she clutches nervously her hand to her chest. Just a bad dream, she thought to herself. Rubbing her eyes, she slowly gazes at the clock on her desk.
Shit, I will miss my flight ! She curses mentally, turning her hair into a messy bun while shoving various of clothes into her suitcase. The teen takes final preparations for the take-off. Together with her best friends Zoey and Renee, she is making her way to Spain.
