chapter 1

Faith pov

          My legs are killing me now . But i can't loose my balance . Only 5 mins more & this will be over & done .
" Take off the clamps " i asked jed . He took out the clamps immediately. Now i am satisfied by my work . Patient's bleeding is under control and BP is also back to normal, i smiled a little and started wrapping him up . Just as i am about put stitches in i heard very loud commotion outside the OT . It is very unlike to have any kind of loud noises outside the OT so i asked one of the nurses to see what that is all about, but before she could move , the door of my OR opened rather loudly. I turned to discipline whoever it is to how to behave in a hospital but there stood one of my juniors sweating, panting as if he has just been chased by devil and his dogs both .
" what happened & why the hell did you disturb my ongoing operation. Do i  need to teach you guys  how to behave here "
" No maam " he replied still huffing.
" Then what you want, speak "
" Actually maam there is a patient in OR 1 and HOD has sent me get you . He needs you there immediately.
" But i  haven't finished my surgery,  i still have to wrap him up, and why he is asking for me , he knows i am in OR and where are others "
" Maam he specially asked for you and yes he knows you are doing surgery so he called sir david to finish up for you " just as he finished David entered the OR .Now i am super confused so i  looked at David for an answer but he just surged & started putting his gloves. " Maam please hurry we need you  there " He started hyperventilating .Now what the hell is going on & since when did  HOD needed someone else on his side . Anyway i started removing my gloves &  told David that only giving the final stitches are left . He started doing his work and i started walking outside my OR towards OR 1 .

That day that second i didnt knew that my life was going to change for better and for worse . I was running away & towards my life both.
