Chapter 1 A Wish To Be Free

Narrator P.O.V~

   Once upon a time in a celestial kingdom there was a celestial princess named Saru, in the demon realm down below was a demon king named Yato. Low and behold the princess was forced to become queen by her father and is never to be free from the walls of the celestial kingdom again but one day the princess will meet someone from another world and take her away.

Saru's P.O.V~

   I was sitting on my bed the tears flowing down my red cheeks for what my father has done. I think to myself about how cruel and selfish my father is. I just wished to get away from being forced into someone I do not wish to become. I wanted an adventure to be completely free from my own confined walls of this kingdom....

"I wish....I wish someone would set me free from my own prison. I want to be taken away by the wings of free flyers....but that will never...happen."

I cry and cry until I can't no more. Soon after I stopped my tears I heard a soft knock upon my bedroom door. "Come in!" I said with fake excitement to hide my complete sadness and hopelessness. A girl with short light blue hair, wore an orange shirt with a blue skirt came into my room....she is my best friend Levy Mc Garden but also my maid. "What's with the visit Levy?" I exclaimed questioning her motives.

Levy's P.O.V~

   I heard crying and followed the sounds ignoring my orders from Saru's father. Then I realized the cries were coming from Saru's room so I waited a little while hearing what she says making me feel terrible but I gather my courage and softly knocked on the door. I hear her say "Come in!" And I walk inside as she asks me what am I doing there.

"I....I heard tears being shed and followed the sound to your room Saru~Chan....forgive my rudeness but why are you crying?"

I asked a little shy and scared I'll get flicked on the nose but she answers as the sadness in her eyes makes my heart melt..."I want an escape Levy I don't know what to do....I want to be taken away to see the world and be free."

My heart melted when I heard those very words so I sat by her side and whispered "it'll be alright maybe the stars will grant your very wish my bestest friend Saru~Chan!" I smile gently and giggle seeing her blush and get rid of the sad blues. Saru smiled at me and said "thank you...you always know how to cheer me up!"
