Against You and Me

This is my first story about Godzilla and I can't wait to write a few more in the future! This is just a one-shot, so the story is like a civil war between Godzilla and Kong. This takes place when Godzilla finds out that Mothra sides at Kong, instead of him.

*Sad cries of the author at the distance* but hey, she always got a reason. It hurts my heart to see the two are arguing, *gets some tissues and blows her nose* anyways Enjoy!

Mothra tried to swallow the lump forming at her throat as her blue eyes look down, all kaijus we're gathered at the place, Humans wanted the kaijus that the military will supervise them and things got worse because the kaijus already used to operate on their own.

If they we're gonna be on the hands on the military who clearly wanted to kill them all? Her mind was drifting off, it was a thought to make.

"And what if we come to a decision that you don't like?" Mothra asks over Kong.

Kong cleared his throat, "Then you'll be put down."

She sent him a humorless smile and looks at her claws. The King's eyes rests at hers assuring her to be alright. "With all due respect, Kong. A lot of this shit heads died and it's something we can't take back."

"I think you are forgetting here, that you are all the threats here. Even I haven't gone outside only when it's necessary." Kong huffed, his voice is dripping like a venom. "If we don't do this, it's gonna be done to us later. I guess you need to talk it out." and with that Kong walked out back to his chamber.

Silence comes after as Kong left.

Mothra tries to rethink with her options, she was trying to figure out which is a good or bad decision, she even tried to take a picture inside in her mind of her King's relationship. But, it doesn't mean she needed to side with Kong's arguments.

For some other reason, she could see a point with the monkey, she knows the kaiju's intention about saving the world. Also, they can't all forget the three-headed alien who tried to kill them all. Except, Kevin. The left head looks like a lost puppy trying to find its way back to the owner.

But, humanity is always her priority. She wanted to help human beings and save them.

Also, her mate has a point too. Godzilla likes how they stopped King Ghidorah trying to conquer the world. But, humans nearly killed her beloved and again bring him back to life. Humans could also be confusing sometimes, making her wonder even more.

She needed to think those innocents that were dragged into this mess. Mothra knew where to side.

It all make sense now.

"Maybe, Kong was right." those words came out from her mouth, making them stop what they are doing. They all stared at her with shock, especially to her mate who was staring at her and couldn't believe what she was saying, "If we can have one hand on the stir, then we could all work together." she tilts her eyes to everyone, trying to avoid Godzilla's gaze.

"Mothra, aren't you the same puta, who told the military to kiss their ass, a few years ago?" Rodan said in disbelief. "Mothra, tell me you are kidding."

Mothra frowned at Rodan and Anguirus at the same time. She hated the fact that everyone thinks she was joking. "I'm being serious."

"But you hate, Kong!" Anguirus pouted, "Like you wanted to punch his perfect teeth!"

She crossed her arms and frowned way too deeply, in fact making the two stopped talking. "Look I'm agreeing that Kong is right about this whole act."

Godzilla sighed deeply, fleeting out from the room. She looked away, closing her eyes and felt the ache in her heart. "I'll talk to him." Mothra let out a deep sigh and followed her mate. She darted her head around only to find him near the lake looking down.

"Goji," she spoke, he covered his mouth trying to avoid her gaze. "Hear me out, please--"

He stared at her harshly, "What?" his voice filled with bitterness. "Look, I know it's our duty being the guardians of the earth. You do understand many of our friends will surrender to the military, those suck up could have been better to kill us when they have time to do it!" Godzilla yelled, couldn't believe that his Queen and Mate was siding the monkey.

Her antennas hang lowly, "I mean, how could you do this?-"

"The military could help us, Goji. If something like this would happen. This is the only thing that could make humans safe!"

"Safe?!" he roared angrily, slapping his tail at the ground making her flinch. "You call this safe? This isn't freedom, this is fear! I am not gonna stand by and let those fuckers do what they want with us."

"They all  just want the best for us."

"By locking them up?"

She scoffed loudly, "If its to protect humanity, then yes!"

His golden orbs widen in disbelief. Words that came out from his mouth was more venomous this time. "That is why we are here, The guardians of the earth. You and me, The King and The Queen of the monsters. My mate. We are the one who's restoring the balance." His voice lowered down.

She could tell he was getting annoyed and there was clearly no point to lie right now. "Its almost sounds that you are trying to force me to agree with Kong's agreement like you did." He huffed loudly, gritting his sharp teeth. His eyes were still cold and harsh, "Why can't you just trust me?" she asked putting her claws together.

"Because you can't trust me either."

She felt her heart stopped when he say those words in front of her fucking face, Mothra was stunned. Too stunned, by the King's claim. Grappling to think the honesty and lies. She felt an invisible huge brick slamming her face really hard. She trusts him with all her life and her retribution. It makes her heart hurt, even more, she tried to hold her tears that were slowly slipping out. "Is that what you think of me?" She let out an angry chur, ignoring the knot twist in her insides and heart tightening.

"That's what you always do." He sighed.

"After everything that happened with me, with you and us. That is what you're going to say to me now? That's your reason because you don't trust me as your mate? Why would you do this?"

And without another word, she left, leaving him alone.

They all got into their stance, Godzilla gets out from the ocean as Kong jumping down at the building.  Kiryu with his side and those Kaijus who sided him, even Rodan and Anguirus. The Titans stomped their way at the evacuated city since the military relies on them and evacuated the whole city before it will be their death day.

Kong wasn't alone as they look up at the sky seeing the bright light that hovers at the clouds, All of them gazes at the Queen arriving at the city. She was tired and her heart was in pain,

"You're highness." He gripped his claws, avoiding her blue eyes. Trying himself to be cold and distance from her.

"You've always been a terrible liar,"  she said tiredly like she has been crying a while ago. His head suddenly hurt when hearing those words, Just thinking want to punch Kong's face.

"Goji," she called him like she misses her mate so much. "You know what's about to happen, Do you really want to punch your way out from this one?"

The two stared at each other with bottomless silence, Mothra closes her eyes first before swinging her mantid arms readying herself of what's gonna happen. If they won't give up, then Kong, the Queen, and the others will put them down.
