The Re-occurrence

Hi Everyone, I'm New to Wattpad but I thought I would start off with a romance/action story, if you enjoy it I would love feedback on how i could possibly make the next chapter better. all photos and videos do not belong to me.

I awoke in the late afternoon, realising my mate was no where to be seen I jumped from the ground.

"Adrian!" I called.

'find him' my inner animal pressed

'I will' I responded, I caught Adrian's scent and shifted, following it to a river with Adrian laying on the bank unconscious. My wolf form ran to his side without thinking twice, after shifting back I wrapped my arms around him lifting his chest to my ears.

"Adrian?" I tried, no response.

"Adrian!" I tried again shaking him a little

"Adrian!" I called, Adrian stirred in my arms

"hmm...?" he said groggily,

"oh hey Drake, what's going on? How did I get here?" he questioned. I looked down at him with tears brimming my eyes.

"oh thank god!" I cried holding him to me in a death grip.

"don't do that again!" i yelled pulling him close again, I felt his breath catch.

"what's wrong?" I asked releasing him slightly.

"it's nothing, it's just your nose is really cold" he said with a low chuckle. I released him allowing him to sit up. After making sure he was alright I shifted and went to find some food. When I returned I found Adrian with a small fire and several small fish being cooked. My wolf dropped the three bunnies I had spent half the morning hunting at his side, nudging them closer to him.

"you know I can't eat this Drake" he said giggling, I sat down and whined with one paw placed on his left thigh.

"shift back and we can eat together" he said giving me his little smile that made my heart race.

After eating and packing out things I helped Adrian to his feet.

"so how do you even know I'm your mate?" Adrian questioned as we walked through a denser part of the forest.

"you'll understand when you turn 16" I answered helping him over a large fallen tree, wondering why he even brought it up.

"but I don't want to wait that long~" Adrian whined,

"it's only a couple of weeks" I pointed out

"I know... but I'm impatient, guess that's something we have in common" Adrian deviously said, I caught on and tackled him to the ground pinning him under my weight

"oh really smart guy!?" I cried tickling him until he was struggling for breath.

"I give in!" he cried. We were sitting there on the ground until I realised the marks on a nearby tree.

SNAP

I whirled my head around to the sound just to be tackled to the ground by a large Grey Wolf. I snarled at them trying to kick it off, when I heard Adrian yell I twisted my head to see him being dragged off by two pitch black wolves.

"let him go!" I yelled at the two wolves, they ignored me and continued dragging him away, I started shifting with my bones popping and cracking out then back into place. I kicked the grey wolf off. standing up I was a little bigger then the other two wolves
