I've considered my life to be some what as kind of a joke. A horrible one but a joke no less. Im Hailey Jones and my parents hate me. And I'm serious. I'm not one of those girls who run away from home because they don't get what they want. No, my parents have told me to my face that I don't deserve to live. Could you imagine waking up in the morning and being told you are worthless? That you amount to nothing? It's hard but you have to stay strong. It's really important. And what makes matters worse, is that I have cancer. I have two brain tumors, on the left side of my skull, and doctors say that it's next to impossible for them to even slow down its growing. So I'm 13, I've got cancer and my parents hate me. I hate my life. Wait a minute, my life ended when I was diagnosed with cancer a year ago. I know what you're probably thinking. Oh poor Hailey, she's a sick kid. Well, you know what? I am but I already know this. I don't need people pitying me all the time. I don't want sympathy. I want a life. One where people think I matter.
