A Thousand Years Later (History)

This would've been the last time the ninjas would fight together...

A new enemy named Shadow, Shadow Tenembrus attacked Ninjago. He was nothing like the previous enemies the ninjas have fought. He was three times stronger than The Overlord and The First Spinjintsu Master united. The ninjas fought and fought, then suddenly an Amber Attack was aimed at all of them, including Master Wu, Misako and their allies. Kai was able to see the attack and tried to warn the others, note the word: tried. He shouted but it was too late and the attack was aimed at them, and as the villain expected; they all died. Kai saw all the lifeless bodies of his friends and families, and fell to his knees and cried.

He felt guilty for what happened to his friends. Tenembrus, satisfied of his work, left for his realm. Kai still stayed there, until a woman with blonde hair and glasses approached him. She tried to comfort him, and Kai finally stood up and asked the woman to follow him wherever he'll be going. The woman was shocked of the proposition, but took it anyway. He asked her to write down everything that would be going on in his life; from the day he met the ninja till his or her death. The woman did as told and followed the young man on his long route.

As they were traveling and as time passed, the pain also grew. Kai had enough, one night he summoned the devil and became a devil himself; more referred as demon in exchange of a big favor. He told the woman that she could leave, but the woman refused. She continued to write down their adventures. As they travelled the next year, they had bumped into someone, they never thought to see again. There with her bucket of water, her black hair tied and her blue dress, was the reincarnation of Nya. They said their greetings and left. On their way they saw two boys in the park. One was dressed in green, and had blonde hair while the other was dressed in blue and had light brunette hair: The reincarnation of Lloyd and Jay.

Apparently each time the ninjas died, they were reincarnated, and somehow the two of them always found a way to come across them. On their last voyage the woman had fallen very ill, and was brought quickly to the hospital. Before she died, she looked one last time at Kai and smiled, while handing him the book, that was when she gave her last breath: with a bright smile plastered on her face.
