I was walking to the cockpit from my room. I saw the door to the ramp closing.
"Skye?" I ask I don't get an answer, but I walk around the chairs and see Skye laying on the floor.
She was clearly unconscious, Felicity wasn't with her, so I assumed Felicity was with Amara and Timothy. Skye wouldn't leave them unless she had to. That's when I realized she was having a blackout. I raced over to her, and gathered her into my arms.
"Skye!" I tried to keep the fear out of my voice, because if she could hear me I didn't want to sound scared.
The only response I got was her head turning. Her eyes were moving quickly under her eyelids. I picked her up and brought her into the cockpit.
"Efren!" I say.
"Yeah Theo?" Efren asks.
He turns around and sees Skye in my arms unconscious. He goes into overdrive mode.
"What's going on?" Efren demanded.
"I was coming here from my room, and she was on the the ground. She's in a blackout and she had no physical connection to the present when she went under." I say.
"Amara and Timothy?" Efren asks as I lay Skye onto the table.
"Felicity is with them." I say.
"Get Lars and send him to help her." Efren says.
"But . . ." I begin and look at Skye, but Efren cuts me off.
"Now." Efren says.
I go to Lars' room and knock. The door opens to show Lars standing there.
"Felicity is alone watching Timothy and Amara. Will you please go watch them with her?" I ask.
"What happened to Skye?" Lars asks.
"Please." I say.
Lars must have known something was wrong, because he didn't question it, and headed out right away. I turned to head back when I ran into Wren.
"Hey Theo what's wrong?"
"You better come with me." I say, then lead the way towards the cock pit.
When we reach the cockpit Wren sees Skye on the table unconscious. He raced over to her, and gently placed his hands on her face.
"What's wrong? What happened?!?!" Wren demanded.
I sigh and give him the short version.
"Why wasn't anyone with her?" Wren demands.
"Wren, believe me we are all kicking ourselves for this, but I don't think we need anymore anger." I say.
Wren looks angry I said that, but he doesn't push anymore.
"How long was she out?" Efren asks looking at me.
"When I found her probably only a few seconds." I say.
Efren nods, He heads to her side and places his hands on her arm. He closed his eyes, he was trying to enter her mind. He was struggling though. He opened his eyes.
"I can't get in." Efren says.
I felt my heart pounding. This had never happened before. I didn't know what to do now. I saw Efren scared out of his mind too. Seeing that made this situation even more hair raising. Efren was usually the calm and careful guy. Efren headed over to Skye. He gently rested his hand on her head.
"Skye please I need you to wake up." Efren says.
Nothing happened.
"Skye! Come on please get up."
This time I noticed Skye's face scrunch up, and a tiny sob escaped her mouth.
"Efren, try again." I say.
"Skye, I need you to get out of your head. Can you do that for me please?" Efren asks.
He was desperate I could hear it in his voice. He was terrified of loosing Skye. All of a sudden Skye's hand moved. I heard Efren let out a laugh of relief. Efren was next to me on one side, and Wren was on her other side.
I think she was reaching for Efren, but her hand grabbed mine. I felt her grip tighten, and she started digging into my skin. She was literally clawing to get out of her mind. I squeezed her hand trying to offer her as much strength as she needed. Whether or not it did I wasn't sure.
Eventually her eyes opened and she took in a deep breath her purple eyes were darting around. She sat up and because I was closest leaned into me. I felt my heart beating crazily though. I forced myself not to blush. She was with Wren I scolded myself.
I could feel Skye shaking. I don't know what she had gone back to, but it wasn't sitting well with her.
"Where did you go?" Efren asks.
"The last mission I did with Timothy and Amara. Then with Timothy and Amara when we removed myself from Big Brother's database." Skye says.
Efren nodded, then when that was done he hugged her.
"Thank goodness. I was scared we lost you." Efren says. Skye nodded.
"Not that easily." Skye responded back softly.
When Efren pulled away from her she leaned back onto me.
"I'm glad you're okay." I say.
Skye nodded. She didn't seem to care that she was leaning on me, but what I did realize was that we were holding hands. I almost let go, but realized her hands were cold and clammy.
"Wren, can you get her a blanket?" I ask.
Wren nods.
"Of course." Wren says then darts away.
Efren watched as Wren left.
"I should go wake Helaina and tell her what happened." Efren says.
Skye gives a small nod, then Efren heads out leaving Skye and I alone.
"I heard you." Skye says.
"What?" I ask.
"When I was under I heard you say my name." Skye says.
Before I can respond Wren comes back in with the blanket.
