Chapter 1

~Teresa's POV~

The sun was shining through my window. I woke up and got out of bed. I walked downstairs to the kitchen. I seen my mom sitting at the table.

"Goodmorning mom."

"Goodmorning baby."

"Where is dad?"

"He had to leave early for work."

"Oh ok."

"Baby you know my friend Emma Allen from down the street with the two boys?"

"Yea."

"Well me and your dad have to go out of town for a few weeks and she said she will watch you until we get back."

"Ok." I said smiling.

"What are you smiling for?"

"I love going to Mrs Allen's house. It's so fun there. Me and the boys be having the best time there."

"Aww. Baby we should be back for your 17th birthday."

"I have the best plans for us to do."

"Ok baby. Keep those in mind so when we come back we can do them."

"Ok. When do you guys leave?"

"Tomorrow morning."

"So when I wake up you guys will be gone and I have to pack my stuff and take a key and lock the door and walk to Mrs Allen's house."

"Yes."

"Ok mom. I should get dressed my friends are coming to take me out to hang out."

"Ok baby. Have fun."

"I will mom."

I walked upstairs and got dressed in my cropped army hoodie and my high waisted skinny black skinny jeans. I grabbed my socks and put on my black combat boots. I put my hair in a tight bun with some hairs left out. I did a natural makeup look. I did my hygiene stuff. My phone dinged. It was my friends telling me they were here. I responded and grabbed my phone and my house key and stuck them in my back pocket. I walked downstairs.

"I'm leaving mom. Love you."

"Love you too baby. Be careful. Cleveland can get pretty crazy at night."

"I will mom."

We hugged and I walked outside.

"About time damn girl."

"I'm sorry I had to make sure I look fine asf before I left the house." We laughed and hugged and started walking to the skatepark. We go and sit there and listen to music and dance and have fun. We were walking when we passed Mrs Allen's house and Brandon and his brother Dub were outside with some white dude.

"Hey Teresa."

"Hey Brandon."

We talked for a minute and then we left and headed to the skate park.

"What are you doing for your 17th birthday?"

"Well my mom and dad are going out of town for a few weeks so I'm staying with Mrs Allen until they get back. I'm thinking about going out for a movie and then going to dinner and then have a little party for us to have fun and hang like we used to all the time."

"That's amazing."

"Yea. I'll tell them when they get back."

"When do they leave?"

"Tomorrow morning"

We finished talking and started playing music and laughed and dancing and making videos and taking pictures.

"I'm hungry.Let's go get something to eat."

We all agreed and we grabbed our stuff and started walking to the diner. We got there and went to a booth. We sat down and ordered our food. We got our drinks and then 10 minutes later our food came. We ate and talked and laughed and had a great time. We finished and paid and then we walked back to my house.

"Alright bye guys. I'll talk to y'all tomorrow. Love ya."

"Love ya too."

We hugged and they left and I went inside the house. My parents were asleep and I went upstairs and to my room. I shut my door and I grabbed a makeup wipe and wiped my makeup off. I took out my hair and left it down. I changed my clothes and put the dirty clothes in my basket. I put on my night clothes and I climbed into bed and plugged my phone in and I laid down and fell asleep.
