Chapter 32 ● Cade says and does a lot of crap ○

I finally know more about what Cade did! I'm so annoyed with him! One moment he says he's gonna leave Calum alone and the next moment he just traps him in his mind. Can't this idiot just make up his mind about something and make it stick? Darren thinks to himself.

Darren was right when he called Cade a 'coin'. That guy is so double sided. He tells me he's gonna stop annoying me but then he just traps me in my mind again. Can't this guy make his mind up his mind about anything? I guess not. He caused me to be so confused. I felt like some fake scenario he trapped me in was real... that scenario hurt me... it damaged my mind, it damaged my thoughts and nearly damaged my friendship with people I care so much about. Calum thinks to himself.

"Cade!" Darren shouts at him through the phone. "Seriously Dare! Are you trying to make me deaf?!" He replies to him. "I would love to do that but no it's your fault for putting your phone too close to your ear" he responds. "Why are you calling me anyway?" He asks Darren. "I wanna fight with you" he replies. "Oh! How fun! But haven't you got anything better to do brother?" He responds. "Well yeah, but you know I gotta let you know that you're a terrible person" he responds. "Why thank you, I love being a terrible person" he replies.

"Darren" Calum calls him. "What is it pup?" He asks him through his thoughts. "I don't know, I just wanna talk to you" he replies. "I'm on the phone to Cade. I'm gonna try to get him to stop annoying you. I know he's been troubling you and I'm gonna stop him" he responds through his thoughts. "Why do you wanna stop Cade from annoying me?" He asks Darren. "He's getting in the way of my plans and that's irritating me" he replies to him through his thoughts. "What plans? What are you gonna do?" He asks curiously. "Can't tell you" he replies.

"You really need to stop using my tricks on Calum" Darren tells Cade. "Why should I?" He asks him. "Because you have no mind of your own and just copy whatever I'm doing" he replies to him. "No I don't exactly copy you brother I just do what you do but better than you do" he replies. "You don't do anything better than me" he huffs before responding. "Oh yeah, why am I always the one who mixes up his reality and the thoughts I trap him in then?" He asks. "Because I don't aim to do that shit" he replies. "You should stop you're just ruining his life" he adds. "Maybe that's my aim" he responds to him. "Why are you doing it to him?" He questions. "He's you but he's not you" he answers. "That doesn't make sense" he tells him in a confused tone. "It does to me" he replies. "Just stop doing this to him cause I can assure you that it's not gonna get the revenge you're hoping to get on me" he responds. "It will eventually though" he responds. "It won't, anyways I'm done talking to you bye" he replies cutting the call.

"Cade!" Calum shouts clearly annoyed with him. "What do you want Darren 2.0?" He asks. "I'm not at all like your brother idiot" he replies. "That's where you're wrong Calum" he responds. "Whatever, I know you made up that whole scenario that happened in the nightclub and where I hurt my friend and all!" he responds back. "Congratulations! You finally figured it out!" he says to him through his thoughts faking enthusiasm. "What's your deal with me anyway?" He questions him. "You're the key to getting the ultimate revenge on my brother" he answers him through his thoughts. "I don't believe that" he replies. "You don't need to" he responds though his thoughts. "You're so damn annoying!" He responds back.

Cade decides to go visit Daphne. He rings her doorbell. She opens the door letting him in. They sit in her living room. "Hi Cade" she greets him. "Hey Daphne" he greets back. "What brings you here?" She asks him. "I was wondering if we could team up like we did when Darren was messing with Valley, what do you say?" He replies to her and asks her opinion on it. "I'd love to" she responds. "That's great" he responds back.

"So, what's your plan?" Daphne asks Cade. "My plan is to get Calum to hate Darren more than he already does. What's yours?" He replies to her and asks her the same question back. "Oh, my plan is the same from when he was controlling Valley; to undo everything Darren does to him" she answers him. "Seems like we're both trying to do different things" he replies. "We might be able help each other achieve both our plans though" she responds. "I suppose I could do with a witch on my side" he responds back.

"Darren isn't doing much now and it's kinda boring" Daphne tells Cade. "I know, there's not much to to when Dare isn't doing much" he replies sighing. "Maybe we can trigger him to make him do something" she suggests. "How?" He questions. "By turning Calum into a vampire" she answers. "I don't think that's a good idea" he replies. "Fine, we threaten Calum" she responds. "I'm in so long as we blame it on Darren" he responds back.

"Darren?" Calum calls him. "Yeah Calum?" he asks him through his thoughts. "Cade's up to something and apparently I'm the 'key to getting ultimate revenge' on you" he replies. "What? That doesn't make sense" he responds confused. "I thought that too, but it makes sense to him for some weird reason" he responds back. "I will figure out what he's up to and try and make sure he doesn't hurt you for trying to get revenge on me, it's unfair that you get punished for my mistakes" he replies. "At least you know something about doing the right thing" he responds. "Nobody is all evil Calum" he responds. "Okay" he replies.

"So, how is this gonna work?" Cade asks Daphne. "Easy, we go for his friends not him" she replies obviously. "And?" He questions. "We give Calum an ultimatum" she answers using the same tone of voice as before. "And you sure Darren is gonna do something about this?" He asks uncertainty filling the tone of his voice. "Yes" she replies.

Cade's phone rings. "Who's that?" Daphne asks curiously. He looks at the caller ID. "It's Dare" he replies to her. "Answer it, just avoid talking about the plan though" she responds. He answers the call.
