"Oh, please! You can't seem to keep your hands off each other since we made that Destimortentia potion," Theo exclaims annoyed, eyeing the couple that sits in front of him.

Skyler and Draco look at him innocently. "It's not like you and Daphne are quite careful either, Theo," Skyler sings, a slight smirk on her face as Theo looks utterly shocked.

"How the f—"

"Girls gossip, Theo," Draco says. "I'm sure they talk about a lot of things in their dormitories." The silver blond smirks down at his girlfriend and kisses her brow before pulling her closer.

Skyler grins. "They talk about almost everything..." she murmurs, a blush covering her cheeks. "Especially on the sex-theme. So, Theo, you're brought up a lot. Not as much as our friend Blaise, though... that guy goes around like my own father."

Theo glares at both of them before rolling his eyes. "If you'll excuse me, I want to eat my breakfast without troubling thoughts about any of my friends."

"You are excused, Theo," Draco mocks, and Skyler's stomach growls at the sound of the word 'food'. The brown-haired boy stands up straight and leaves the Slytherin common room.

"I'm going to get some breakfast as well... see you there?" Skyler kisses Draco's cheek and mutters a soft 'I love you', before disappearing to the girl's dormitory to get dressed and ready for yet another day of education.

He notices that something is wrong the moment he enters the Great Hall for breakfast. There's a huge crowd around the Gryffindor table and everyone is either smiling and cheering or asking lots of questions. What the hell?

Draco freezes when he sees Katie Bell smiling gently at everyone and shaking everybody's hands.  Fear courses through his veins when his mind recalls all the things, he is responsible for... he is responsible for all the pain that girl felt over the past months.

He made her do his will without mercy, influenced by his wretched aunt and father. And then, he had been stupid enough to expose that necklace to the girl's skin... almost killing her.

He watches her speak to Potter, and he pales... Potter suspects him already. If Potter would get even more suspicious than he already is, Draco would be in a lot of trouble. And damn, trouble is coming to him right now... his icy eyes clash with Potter's green ones and the latter narrow with a flash of hate and suspicion. Nerves and fear getting the best of him, Draco turns on his heels and storms out of the Great Hall, toward the bathroom of Moaning Myrtle. What in the name of Merlin makes him go that way, actually? And why does his gut tell him to take in all of these halls very well?

Draco doesn't know why, but he feels like this will be the last time he is walking through these halls as a 'normal' student.

Looking back, he sees Potter turn around the corner, anger written across his face... instead of facing him directly here and now, Draco starts to walk faster and eventually even runs away. Why can't The Boy Who Lived just leave him alone?

Skyler looks around worriedly. Of course, it is a Saturday, and Draco might've fallen back asleep, but that is not something he would do. Her eyes dart around the Great Hall whilst she eats her breakfast in solitude.

"Sky, have you seen that boyfriend of yours, by any coincidence?" Blaise speaks up from her left, and the Princess looks at him, shaking her head.

"No, not since this morning. I'm wondering what takes so long, actually." She puts another bite of her cornflakes in her mouth as she scans the Daily Prophet for news and updates. It's awfully quiet from the enemy's side.
