Around the corner from Mal and Evie's door, Claws and Artie stand watch as Ben waited for Mal to leave with him on their date. Claws gagged at the conversation they were having before Ben and Mal finally left, leaving the room in the hands of the Wonderland kids.

"Coast is clear." Artie says. Margery walks away from the corner and to the door. She gave a hard knock at it to see if anyone was in. The door opened and Margery saw it was Evie. Whatever smile Evie had on her face quickly disappears and is replaced with a fearful look. Margery only smiles.

"May we come in?" Margery asks.

"We—?" Evie was cut short by Margery walk in with the others behind her. Evie was pushed to sit down. Claws guarded the door to make sure no one got in and Evie not to get out.

"Let go of me! You can't be in here!" Evie yells. Wilbur pushed her down to sit on a chair and held her there.

"Says who?" Margery says. She walks slowly towards Evie and crouches down to be eye level with her. "Last time I checked, giving the Crown Prince a love potion is frowned upon, but kudos to you. I never would have thought of that myself and I have a very...interesting imagination."

"How did you—?" Evie asks, only to be cut off again.

"My friends are my eyes and ears when I'm not around. Now... Where is that book Claws told me about?"

"I don't know what your talking about. What bo—?" Evie says, but the answer wasn't good enough for Margery. She backhanded Evie in the face. Evie let out a cry.

Margery looks at her friends. "Search the room." And they did and they weren't gentle about it. They dumped things on the ground, messed beds up, and searched through items.

The sounds of stuff being thrown and Evie's crying filled Margery's ears. Evie looked at her was pleading eyes, but Margery ignored them.

"W-what are you going to do with her s-spell book?" Evie asked.

"Just borrowing it." Margery says.

"~Look what I found." Bianca sang, waving around a leather book with a dragon on the cover. She handed it to Margery with a smile. Margery grabs it and flips through pages.

"Sleep spell... Jumbled Words spell... Speed-reading spell... Love Spell Cookies... Ah, there it is." Margery grins and shuts the book. She looks at Wilbur.

"You can let her go, Wilbur. Doug wouldn't like us hurting a friend." Margery whispers to Wilbur

"That's why I held her in place instead of Claws, " Wilbur says, removing his hands away from Evie to let her free. "Jabberwocky knows she would have clawed her eyes out."

"All true!" Claws adds.

"Can you take it to our room, please? I'll met you there in a minute." Margery says, handing the book to Claws. Claws nods and takes it. "You guys can leave, now. I just want to have a chat with Evie for a bit."

"Are you sure? I can stay behind with you." Artie says. No one saw, but Wilbur looks away with a painful feeling, an emotional feeling. Margery shakes her head at Artie.

"I'll be alright and besides, all of us in one room scare her too much." Margery says, looking down at Evie. Soon, the other Wonderland kids leave the room. The room was silent. Margery pulled up a chair and sat in front of Evie. No smile on either face and Evie didn't know if that was a good thing or a bad one.

Evie puts on a brave face. "What do you want from me now?"

"Nothing, just a simple chat is all." Margery says plainly. "Don't be afraid."

"How do you expect me not to be afraid when you break into my room, hit me and steal Mal's book?!" Evie snaps. She thought about it and it may have been a mistake snapping at a dangerous people. But that wasn't the case. Margery reached out and grabs Evie's hands.

"I promise I won't hurt you...unless you give me reason to." Margery says. "I don't do anything with a reason that benefits me and my family."

"Please, just leave." Evie cries softly. Margery wiped away the tear on Evie's face.

"When Mal gets back from her date, have her find me if she wants her book back." Margery says. She got up and straight out her clothes. Before exiting she tells Evie one final thing, "Oh and put some ice on your face, you wouldn't want that pretty face to swell up."

Margery leaves with the door slamming shut behind her. Evie bolted to the door and locked it before leaning on the door and sliding down. She continues to cry.

Meanwhile in the hall, Margery takes out a small vile and drops Evie's tear inside.

"One tear of human sadness... Better make it count."
