"Police reports an animal attack. All victims drained of blood. These animals are unidentifiable but studies show that there were sharp teeth. We don't know what it is. So message to everyone, stay out of the woods." The new reporter said before the television was cut off.

Vivian Waters sighed as she looked at her youngest daughter. She was beautiful with big innocent green eyes and thick wild red hair. "Ashton Waters, when will you stop this?"

"Stop what? I didn't do anything." She replied defended herself.

"I know what you have done. You're killing innocent people. You need to stop-"

"I will never stop killing." She stood up eyeing her. "I am a killer. I am a vampire." She said with honor.

"I am protecting you Ashton. You will stop this killing-"

"I can't possibly stop. I'm here to keep you safe mother. I need all the strength I can get. I will never drink from an animal. I will never be like Zaria and Elijah. I will never be weak." She said. Her mother looked at her in fear. Fear that she wouldn't ever get her daughter back. And knowledge that she died six hundred years ago.

Ashton walked out of the room and the house. It angered her that she couldn't feed without killing, and also that she loved the kill. She loved the feeling of taking someone's life. She loved it so much that not even her mother, the only human life she valued, could stop her.
