Charlie
Day 1
Sitting on top of the rich cherry wood chest opposite the King size bed in his parent’s bedroom, Charlie studied his physical body that lay next to his mother. He was happy to be free of the cumbersome body that kept him weighted down in matter. The body had so many demands: feed me, cloth me, cleanse me, dress me, heal me and the list never stopped. The body couldn’t fly, move through matter naturally, or visit other dimensions. Its purpose was to allow the soul to inhabit Gaia, a beautiful and copious planet full of temptation. He preferred his light body that he now inhabited because in it, he could walk on water.
Charlie floated off the chest to sit on the bed next to Serenity. She was restless tonight as her eyes darted back and forth under closed lids. She was dreaming, a primitive form of soul traveling, he thought, but necessary to prepare the soul for when it would finally leave the physical body and take on its light body. He was happy that when he decided to return to Earth, he remembered who he was and the powers he possessed.
Gazing at the two bodies in the bed, he knew it was time to leave. His thoughts were on the Temple of Knowledge, on Sirius and his teacher, Thoth as he effortlessly left Earth’s dimension in his light body, and passed through other dimensions.
Moving rapidly through space and time, he stopped when he realized something was wrong. He sensed their presence before he saw them, the Brothers of Darkness. Fear gripped him as they surrounded and taunted him, blocking his way to the next dimension or his return to his physical body.
“Die Child of Light”
Tossing him around, they sent him spiraling down toward the depths of space and time toward dimensions below Earth. He would be a slave of the Brotherhood and do the bidding of the Lords of Darkness. His light would be dimmed until some kind soul reached out for him and pulled him out of darkness. Falling, falling was all he could think about
He weakly cried out to the vast darkness around him, “Help, help,” while spinning faster into nothingness.
He stopped abruptly. Everything stood still. A beam of light so bright illuminated the darkness. The Brothers of Darkness recoiled and sunk back into the darkness. Thoth floated forward and wrapped his light around Charlie. Feeling a tremendous amount of love, Charlie let go of the fear as he was guided by Thoth to Sirius.
Once inside of the Temple of Knowledge, Charlie looked around at the familiar objects as seen through his perception. For him the Temple was all glass with beams of light streaming in from a diamond shaped opening much like a five pointed star. On Earth he drew the symbol all the time to remind him where he came from. Thoth lowered his vibration to take on a light body to make it easier to communicate with Charlie.
“Where did those evil entities come from?” Charlie asked.
“From you.” Thoth replied.
“I don’t understand. How can that be possible?”
“You forgot to shed the energies of your physical body before you took on your light body. You were too busy criticizing the physical body instead of vibrating in love for all things. The negative emotional energies - such as fear - that you experienced earlier in the morning before going to school were still attached to your energy field. The entities sensed fear in you and were attracted to it. You have not been in awareness. Once on the Earth’s plane, you are becoming like the sons of men forgetting spiritual truths.”
Charlie remained quiet.
“What lesson did this experience teach you?”
“While in my physical body, I must vibrate with love and not fear. I must love and appreciate all forms of creation. If darkness tries to consume me, I must expand my light or love, because if I vibrate in fear, the darkness will win.”
“Yes, remember to always stay in the light no matter how difficult the situation might be wherever you are.”
Charlie sat there meditating on what he had learned. When he opened his eyes he was back in his physical body in the bed listening to his mother snoring. Climbing down the side of the bed with his teddy bear in hand, he hurried to his mother’s office. He waved his hand over the power button to turn the T.V. on. He had watched his mother and father do it plenty of times. Surfing the channels he finally found the local news. Charlie listened attentively about the body of a young African American male found dead earlier that evening. Then he switched to the national news waiting for anything that might mention Sophia and the UFO.
“The governors and mayors of many of the states where there are tent encampments are issuing notices that the camps have to be removed. This is the same action that was taken against the Occupy Wall Street Movement in 2011. History always repeats itself,” the news commentator explained as clips of many of the camps were shown. Charlie paused the T.V. when the New York encampment appeared on the screen. He got inches away from the screen and stared at a cat sitting in a tree.
Startled when he heard Serenity say his name, he quickly gazed innocently at her before shifting his attention back to the T.V. “Why are you standing so close to the T.V.? Why are you even up this time of morning watching it?” She asked, not that she expected an answer.
Serenity waved her hand in front of the power button and turned it off. “You can’t get out of bed and watch T.V. all night. What are we going to do when we’re out there trying to find Sophia?” She continued her tirade, folding her arms in front of her looking at him with sleepy red eyes. In her mind, she believed he understood her.
Moving his hand over the power button, the T.V. screen illuminated the dark room again.
Serenity uncrossed her arms, “Come on Charlie, we have a few more hours to sleep, then it will be time to get up,” she yawned, standing in the doorway. She waved her hand again and the T.V. went blank.
Charlie waved his hand and the voice of the news commentator filled the room.
Serenity sulked. She walked over to him and took Mr. Thoth from under his arm and walked out of the room.
Within seconds she heard Charlie running down the hallway.
