chapter 24

Demi's POV

the rest of our night was full of tears. I get how she must feel right now. I loved that she knows she's not alone. it may take a while for it to actually process but at least she can repeat that to herself

I've just awoken from my sleep and I look down at her and see her tear stained cheeks and her puffy eyes. I kiss her temple

"baby girl" I say softly

"it's time to wake up" I say in a cheerful tone

"I want to sleep" she's says in a whisper

"I know you do sweety but today you get to go home" I say

she simply replied with "no"

I was about to say something when there was a knock on the door

"come in" I say thinking it's just the doctor to bring the discharge papers

it was a dark haired girl that walks In with her chin to her chest and her feet slowly but surely shuffling across the floor

I knew exactly who that was.

Hannah

I guess she didn't see me when she first walked in because she just stood there quietly until she mumbled three words

"I love you" she said so low you could barely hear

she then started to speak a little louder

"and I understand that you love demi and you're with her but I miss you and when I heard you were in the hospital and about your mom I wanted to come see you and make things up to you but most of all I want to fix us..." she said hoping for a response

at that point I was boiling

I just simply said "get out"

her head shot up and looked me straight in the eye

the look of sadness quickly turned into anger when she walked towards me.

at that point I myself have gotten up and stood at the edge of the bed as well

"I said get out" I replied bluntly

"no you took my girl away from me!" she said raising her voice

"I didn't take her from you! you left her!" I said stepping closer

"but I came back for her! you don't deserve her!" she said stepping closer

I felt my heart shatter but I knew I couldn't show any sign of weakness because then she would take my baby girl away from me.

in one swift moment my fist had collided with her face and she fell to the floor

"no. you don't deserve her. now leave" I said going back to Amara who is sitting up in shock by what just happened m

"I'm sorry you had to see that baby girl you can lay down and get some rest" I stood there stroking her soft cheek with the back of my hand when I saw her eyes widen

I looked at her with confusion

next thing I know she shouted "Demi!" and I felt hannah hit me

it took me a minuet to process but when I got up I saw hannah kissing Amara intensely but Amara showing no Interest in what she was doing

I grabbed her by her hair dragging her outside to max

"get this girl out of here" I say letting her go

I walked back into the room laying next to her

"demi I'm sorry I didn't want to kiss her she just did it and I don't want I lose you please I'm sorry" she said bawling her eyes out

"don't worry about it baby girl I promise but you're going to have to wash your mouth before I kiss you again" I said winking at her

she then got up running to the bathroom washing her face and brushing her teeth

as soon as she ran back she jumped onto the bed straddling me down

"all better" she said in a whisper then she collided her lips with mine

before things got heated the doctor had came in with the papers to leave

as soon as they were signed we got into the car and said

"demi where am I going" she said in a sad tone

"with me silly !" I said laughing
