Alex has known Jessica for a couple years now. He watched the bubbly, excitable girl turn into a quite girl who kept to herself. He knew what her rea smile looks like, and that she hasn't worn it on her face in over two years. He also knew that she's been in a relationship for 3 years, and ever since it's started she hasn't been the same girl.
