Clare's P.O.V.

I was so surprised that Eli came to find me. Well, I knew it would happen sometime, but I didn't think it would be today.

After we talked at my dad's front doorstep, I went upstairs to gather my things while he waited in the car. All I brought was my purse. I usually used the things that I keep there for when I visit Dad.

I walked out to the car with regular everyday clothes. Not pajamas. I didn't want to miss class the next day. I didn't want to hurt my record for a stupid reason. All of this is just getting to my head.

I was about to open the car door when Eli opened it for me. I've always wondered what life would be without him. It's really hard. Trust me.

"I'm glad you chose to come back home" said Eli as he was backing out of the driveway.

I replied,"Yeah me too"

30 minutes later...

We finally arrived back home. And both Eli and I were really exhausted. We both went to bed. After a long day like that, we really needed it.

The Next Day...

I chose to go to Degrassi. I wasn't going to miss a day of school. I seriously don't know if I ever missed a day of school...Weird.

The school day was almost over and I was quiet ever since I stepped into hhe building. I didn't even raise my hand in class. I felt like sitting in the back; for probably the first time in my life.
