Third person POV
Why today of all days did the power have to go out. Pidge thought as the light from his computer was the only thing lighting up the lion's hanger,
Meanwhile in the kitchen
Shira's POV
Kathy and I had just walked into the kitchen after training seeing Luna and Hannah, Hannah being the one making the food while Luna sat at the table when the lights suddenly go out "what th-"I started to say before Luna interrupted me. "AHHHH IM BLIND" she screamed loudly "you're not blind Luna the power went out" Kathy told her crossing her arms looking at Luna the best she could. Hannah being the quietest right now noticed that pidge was missing and started to overreact" uh has anyone seen pidge! What if someone turned off the power and took him! W-what if he's lost!"
"Hannah calm down Pidge is a smart guy he can find his way out, but we should go find him."
"Isn't Pidge always with the lions at this time." Kathy asked.
"Yeah, let's split up so we can check the castle faster, make sure you keep in contact if you either find him or if you find out who turned the power out got it."
"Got it." They say in unison.
I look to see Luna and Kathy going in the same direction not fighting for once and Hannah stayed in the kitchen just in case Pidge found his way to her.
I use my prosthetic arm/hand to make a light source so I could see where I was running.
Pidge's POV
I sign laying back, sitting back up after feeling something cold against my back. I reach back and feel the ground and lets out a shaky breath.
"Ha, the ground is just cold nothing to worry about."
I look over at the door seeing something purple running by making me stand up getting my Bayard out so I could run after the light.
As I chase after the glowing purple light, I take a sharp turn and used my body weight to knock the intruder to the ground.
"Who are you!" I ask it.
Before being overpowered and now pinned down by my shoulders to the ground.
"No who are you!" She asked me in an aggressive tone.
I then realized that I know her voice, I've known it for my entire life. Thank God it was dark in the hallways.
"Shira? Is that you?" I ask her.
"Pidge?" She asked not letting up her tight grip on my shoulders go.
"Um Shira?"
"Yeah Pidge."
"You mind letting me go of me you're hurting my shoulders."
She let's go of my shoulders. "Oh, sorry pidge. I thought you were the person who turned the power off."
She then gets up off the ground. Holding her hand down to me.
"I thought the same as you." I laugh bit grabbing her hand I heard a small grunt as I saw Shira wasn't standing on her right foot right
"Shira are you alright" I asked worried laced in my voice.
"Yeah, why would I be Pidge."
"I heard you grunt a bit while you got up" I then grabs her shoulders making her look me in the eyes.
"Where are you hurt Shira."
She sighs softly knowing she wasn't going to be able to hide it from him.
"It's my ankle I must have twisted it when you tackled me to the ground a few moments ago."
Before she could get into anymore words out, I scoop her up into my arms and headed for the kitchen.
I gently set her down on the countertop so I could one keep an eye on her and two get some ice to put on her ankle so it wouldn't swell and hurt her even more than it probably already does.
I come back to her holding a small bag with a few ice cubes in it and cloth so it wouldn't irritate her skin when I put the ice on it. I wrap the cloth around her injured ankle before gently placing the ice it.
"Does that feel better now Shira?" I ask since I held her calf to place the ice on her ankle. When I see her nod, I hesitated before looking back up at her. "How about I take you to your room so you can sit on this and if you need me, you know my room is right next to yours." I said softly.
