Chapter 9

One day, well I think it was Friday afternoon, Cameron and I was in the dress shop, when she laid eyes on these dress. It had an heart shaped cut and fitted so good that it made Cameron curves really sexy. At the bottom, it was flared out with the most beautiful diamond -shaped diagonal, but it created this flower shaped that you couldn't take your eyes off of. I saw Cameron standing there in that mirror, and I was speechless.

I said, "Cameron I don't care how much it cost, that is the dress for you." She still stood thee looking turning in every direction. 

She said, "I love it. Aaliyah tell me how much it is." I looked at he tag and said, " Cam it is half a million." 

She said, " Okay. I want it." We called Matt, and told him how much the dress was. At first, he was not so happy that it casted so much, but he said, " Anything for the love of my life." I told Cam, "Stay in it as long as you want because I'm going get the money from Matt." She brushed me off with her hand because she was still stirring at herself in the mirror. On my way to get the money Troy called.

"Hi my baby."

"HI Troy. What is going on?"

"I'm on my way to your dome."

"I'm on my way by Matt to get the money for Cameron's dress."

"Okay honey. Well when you pay for her dress and drop her off, I'll be at the dome."

"Okay honey. Bye."

" Bye. I love you."

" I love you, too."

I was happy that I was going to be able to see him after all these weeks of not hearing from him. I got to the condo, and Matt was just putting Waryn to sleep. He said, " Here is the money for my honey's dress.

I said, " I love you'll so much."

He said, " I love you, too."

I left and brought Cam the money, and to get her out that dress. I brought it to my dome and put it in my closet. When I walked thought the door, Troy was on the sofa sitting there like he was thinking.

"HI."

"Hey."

"What's wrong?"

"I don't know how to put it."

"Don't worry. Just tell me."

" Here er go. I slept with another girl?"

" You did what?"

" I slept  with another girl."

" I can't believe this!"

"I'm so sorry. I didn't mean for it to happen. She was in my apartment room when I got there. She kept touching and feeling on me as soon as I stepped in the door. I couldn't pull her off me. So it just happened."

" You didn't stop to think of me, and how I would feel about it. I was so stupid to think that youloved me, and you let something like this happen. GET OUT!!!!!!! , and lost my number."

I popped the chain off my neck and threw it at his feet. I walked into my room, put Cameron's dress in the closet, and laid on my bed and cried myself to sleep.

When I woke up, it was Saturday morning around 9. I took a shower, got dressed, and opened my door to get into my living space. When I got in there, Matt was on the sofa playing the Xbox 360. He saw me, stopped playing the game, and opened his arms to give me a hug. Troy had told him what happened. I hugged Matt and started crying.

" How could he do this to me? I loved him with all my heart, and he slept with another girl."

Matt said, " I know, I know. It will be okay. he does love you, and you know that!!!"

I cried for a few more minutes. Matt kissed me on my forehead as if to say everything will be okay, and walked out the room. I sat there on the sofa feeling empty.

At 12, Troy walked into the doorway of my room. I was still sitting in that same spot that Matt left me in.

"Honey are you hungry?"

"No>"

"Please come with me out to eat."

"No."

"Aaliyah you can't stay upset with me forever."

"Yes I can. You did me wrong."

Troy came and sat next to me.

"My dear sweet angel. I have always loved you. I never stopped even at that moment. My heart is disappearing every  second I'm not with you. I need you to love me Aaliyah. I need you to love me."

" don't know Troy. I'm heartbroken. You destroyed our love and trust. You hurt me, and it felt like I was a fool for loving you. I want us to work Troy. I want us to be in love again, but understand it is going to take time. 

1. You have to get tested to make sure you don't have any diseases.

2. We have to have  check in and out system.

3. We have to be honest no matter how much it hurts. Understood?"

" Yes understood. Now can me and you go get some food?"

" Yes we can."

So we went to one of those really fancy places in the French Quarters. We ordered appetizers and drinks. We really didn't talk that much because I still wasn't happy with him, and he could sense it by the tone in my voice when he did try to start a conversation. We had chips and dip for the appetizer and ordered our food after about an hour.

"Aaliyah if we are going to move on from this, I have to do this again."

" Do what again?"

"Please Aaliyah Jasmine Johnson, will you say yes to marrying me. All I need you to do is say yes. We don't have to rush the wedding, and it can take as long as you want to heal. Just please say yes."

"Um...Okay."

"No, No, No I want you to say yes."

"Troy De'Shawn Pittman, you know that I love you ,and you love me. So I say......... Um..."

"Girl say yes. I know that is what you want to say. Just say it."

" Yes, Yes okay there yes."

He placed the ring on my finger, and sat back in his chair. when the waitress came. she saw the ring, and said, It is beautiful." As if she already knew he was going to do it. We got our food. I still didn't really say anything or smile despite the beautiful ring on my finger, I wasn't happy with him still.

For desert, we had strawberry short cake. We took out forks and twisted our arms and ate off each others forks. We held hands to the car, and while Troy was driving, he had one hand on the wheel and the other hand locked with mine.

I know long chapter. I hope that there are more like this one. I'm not done so there maybe another one.
