The guy in front of Go Ha Jin teases her as she pours him a drink.
"I told you it's not a dream!" She says in an annoyed tone but confused at the same time. "Its all true, I've seen it with my own two eyes but I don't get it. Why do only I know everything while you don't. You were a part of it too you know." Go Ha Jin says.
About six months ago she met a guy at an event but back then she had no idea who he was. Since there are no such things as coincidences, both were heartbroken at the same time so they became friends over drinks.
They did share messages via sns but never met until today where she ran into him at a convenience store where she urged him to make up for all the time he hasn't tried to contact her.
Back then he was just a guy she shared her grief with but now he looks like a friend she missed for so long and is happy for the good life he is living as a lawyer.
He is confused but agrees to do so in such short notice and takes her to a noisy restaurant where they are having these conversations.
"I am part of it?!! Yaa... Your drea- not dreams then past life(?) -is so weird I am speechless." He says while they both clink their glasses and take soju shots in one go.
"Kkhhhhhh....." both of them said in unison as they finished.
With shrinked eyes and resting his face on one hand looking completely uninterested as does he asks again
"By the way it does makes me curious like-"
"Like if you were once a prince or a king that ruled Goryeo? Aigoo..." she laughs and out of complete love slaps his hand on which he was resting his face. He saved himself though.
Their voices got louder and sentences reflected drowsiness as the conversations went on and on.
"I was a prince? Why I am not surprised. Maybe because of this face." He tries so hard but only he laughs at his own jokes."I wish I was king with many wives and royal concubines. They lived the best lives." He grabs a bottle and starts to drink it from then on.
"No." says Ha Jin in a serious voice. "No, to be honest, it was the last thing you ever wanted. Wives and concubines? You loved only one person till the end and she..." Ha Jin restraints herself from saying anything that would increase his curiosity even more. Since he doesn't remember anything there is no point in telling him things he surely won't understand. And maybe he shouldn't.
