Chapter 15: Depressed

Carmen was sitting alone in her room, playing Flappy Bird on her bed. No one would answer her texts.

Not even Michael.

He always answered.

That's the part that made her sad. She heard Dee was extremely depressed and she didn't want to get into any drama. She loved Dee like a sister, but she didn't know if she would be able to handle her.

The whole depression thing was because she broke up with Calum. She was emotional and having a bad day. She meant nothing of what she had said to Calum. But he meant what he said. He accepted it, and agreed with her, and Dee was left alone.

At least, that's what Alli told her.

What had happened? Every thing had gotten sad. Happiness had only lasted about a week and a half. But who was Carmen kidding, did she really think it was true?

Addy hadn't been on the group-chat in days, lost in her depression. Word got out that she was sent to a mental hospital once her parents found out about it. It was no different from at home for her. She spent her days sitting, looking at a wall, crying over all the stupid things she had done in her life.

What was the point of her being alive anyway? Addy was a disgrace. Her parents didn't care about her illness very much, they just waned a perfect daughter. The reason they were so mad was because she had messed up. Big time. She let the Internet take over her life and then crush her into tiny little pieces.

Carmen grabbed her purse with her charger and ran out the door, not bothering to tell her mom or dad where she was going. She didn't have time.

Taking her mom's car, she drove for 20 minutes, following the directions that Alli gave her all the way to the hospital. She ran in the madhouse, panting.

"Tell me where Addy Thompson is RIGHT NOW or I swear to go I will flip this desk over!" Carmen ran in, pounding her fist on the desk in front of her, demanding to see Addy.

Addy had given up trying to change her name to Dee and just began letting everyone call her Addy again.

The man at the front desk did not answer, just stared at her with a scared look on his face.

"I SAID NOW!" She yelled again.

He continued to stare at her in bewilderment, but pointed a finger down the right hall.

Carmen dashed through the depressing, uncomfortable chair filled hall and burst into the room with a number on the top that said 826.

Alli had told her the room number. She must have been there before.

A nurse pulled her back and shoved her into an ugly yellow chair. She sat, shooting the nurse a dirty look.

"You'll have to wait, dear."

"DON'T YOU TELL ME TO FUCKING WAIT!" Carmen stood up and approached the nurse, yelling again. "MY BEST FRIEND JUST GOT DUMPED AND TRIED TO KILL HERSELF I DESERVE TO FUCKING SEE HER YOU NO GOOD PIECE OF SHIT! THIS GIRL IS MY BEST FRIEND, SHE'S NOT JUST ANOTHER ONE OF YOUR PATIENTS! LET ME SEE HER!"

She continued to scream, attracting more attention to the scene. Because of this, hospital staff came and pulled her back to her chair. While trying to fight them off, she caught a glimpse of Addy, her cheeks wet, but her mouth smiling.

Maybe someone does care, Addy thought to herself, feeling a large grin spread across her wet face.

Books always end up as sad books you should have known that guys

Don't get all pissed cuz I'm messing with your emotions and tell me to bring the happy stuff back, ok? It's my book and i'll make the order of events as I please.

This won't be a super long book, so I'm not going to keep writing for a year. That's just annoying.

It'll probably end around chapter 30 or somewhere in the mid-twenties and then i'll write you guys a sweet epilouge.
