This is the first chapter that never made it to production. This one and part of #7 had scripts but after that it's no longer based on the mini series. Really what this means is they should start to get a bit longer, yay! I also have a different story in the works that I may be adding here soon. Enjoy.

-Jane-

I sat thumbing through her journal, looking for something when I heard strange, muffled sounds. I looked up to see Max still in bed, shifting around uncomfortably, still asleep. Without warning, he bolted upright with a look of terror on his face.

"Max, it is just a dream," Kai reassured, having noticed as well.

"Are you alright?" Steph asked, looking up from her work.

"Yeah, I am fine." Max shook his head.

"What happened?" Caleb pressed.

"Nothing, I said I was fine," he brushed off, getting up.

"Well I'm here if you want to ever talk about it. The guys too," Steph said.

"Thanks... I guess?" Max looked puzzled.

"Anyway, what do you guys think of Jane's new outfit?" Steph asked, jumping up and showing me off like a model (which I was not).

Honestly, she did good though. She made me a completely new brown jacket, to replace my burnt one. Instead of my purple dress, I wore an auburn t-shirt and black jeans. She had even made a new strap for my favorite goggles.

"It looks... cool I suppose. Kind of weird though," Kai shrugged.

"Women did not typically wear that kind of stuff in our village," Max agreed.

"But it looks cool, right Caleb?" Steph asked, looking for approval.

"Hah... sure," Caleb said, shrugging.

"Are you criticizing my craftsmanship?" Steph shot, offended.

"Well -if you say it like that- yes."

Steph's head bowed, turning away dramatically. After a moment, she whipped around and began to shoot off.

"Well it's not my fault you guys can't appreciate true art!"

"It is not my fault if she looks weird. I mean, just look at it!" Caleb was quick to retort.

"Hey!" I yelled.

"That is not very nice..." Kai attempted, but was easily drowned out.

"Like how it's not our fault you look like bards?" Steph pointed out.

"They look way worse than this!" Caleb argued. Steph laughed.

"Help me out here! You are supposed to be on my side!" Caleb turned to Kai.

"Your side?"

"Yes!"

Just then Skylar and Rose came in. Rose quickly got between the two groups, separating Steph and me from Caleb and Kai.

"What is happening?" Skylar demanded.

"They're being mean to me!" I shouted.

"You started it!" Caleb defended.

Skylar put up her arms and with a heavy sigh, said, "Can you be more specific?"

"They don't like the new outfit I made for Jane!" Steph asserted, barely keeping her cool.
