CHAPTER SEVEN- s h a d o w m o n s t e r

After everything that happened yesterday with Charlie, Lin and her brother. Y/n wanted to check on the wolf she had found in the forbidden forest. So to have time to eat breakfast, talk to Lin, Charlie and her friends Y/n had to wake up early, around 6.00 a.m. to her surprise wasn't she that tired when she headed towards hagrids hut, but when she woke up Y/n felt like she would fall asleep at any moment while dressing up. Y/n stood in front of hagrids stoned cottage, on the left was his garden where hagrid grew pumpkins. Y/n knocked on the door and it opened right away "there yeh ere, I was wonderin' w'en yeh would come" Hagrid said and showed Y/n inside in his small cozy cottage. The white-silvered, fur glossy and thick. Her collar was off and she tripped lightly over to Y/n, she sat down on her knees and smiled at the wolf "do you want to tell me who did this?" Y/n asked, she knew that Hagrid didn't think it was strange that she was talking to animals, since he did it too. The wolf began to whimper and backed away from Y/n, for someone to make a wolf this terrified just by thinking of the name had to be terrorising.
" 's 'spected, she has bin abused. She doesn' know trus' " Hagrid informed Y/n, it seemed like he knew a lot about saving animals. Y/n frowned, if she ever got her hands on the person that had done it. They would have wished that they never was born, nobody should get away with abusing an animal. "Please don't let her out there again, what if the person takes her again" Y/n begged Hagrid, there was almost tears in her eyes. Hagrid smiled at Y/n and told her he had never intended to send the wolf out in the forbidden forest.
Y/n sat down beside Lin in the great hall, "why did the portal open to me, you said it yourself that nobody was supposed to see him or discover the portal?" Y/n asked in a low voice, Lin shrugged "I have absolutely no idea and it makes less sense with the way you opened the portal, that's not the way it's supposed to work"
What if Y/n had broken it after it opened for her, what if it opened for everyone now, because she broke it. "It's not broken and you did not break it. There is another reason, I just have to figure out what" Lin said just like she knew exactly what Y/n was thinking. While Y/n sat there she had a small debate in her mind, wether she should talk to Charlie or not. Y/n was afraid things would be awkward after what happened last night. However, Y/n didn't have to think about it any longer for Charlie was on his way over to her. "My friends wanted you to sit with us" he smiled when he talked to Y/n and she was surprised how little awkward he was. "Y/n! So great that you could join us" Adam exclaimed and patted the seat beside him, so that Y/n would sit there. Y/n smiled and sat down, Dean was smirking at her "so I heard you visited Charlie last night" He wiggled his eyebrows and Y/n blushed. Had Charlie told them about last night, she glanced discreetly at Charlie, but he didn't seem to mind Dean's teasing, Charlie just smiled at
Y/n. "Just because you are jealous, doesn't mean you have to tease Y/n" Adam smiled at his comeback, it was a surprise for everyone. You could say he was the shy one in the group if you compared him to Dean and Charlie. Y/n giggled at Adam's comeback and Dean glared at Adam "I'm not jealous, I was just stating a fact" Dean said and winked at Y/n. She hid her blushing cheeks behind her wavy blond hair and it was now Charlie's attention had turned to Y/n, he crossed his arms. Charlie wanted to say 'stop flirting with my girlfriend' but he realised that he had never asked Y/n to be his girlfriend. He stood up and walked over to the side Y/n sat and reached for her hand "you probably want to sit with your friends to, so I can ask you something on the way there" Charlie smiled as they walked away but they heard Dean yelling "join us tomorrow for a prank!"
Y/n giggled but nodded even though she knew Dean couldn't see that. "So what was it that you wanted to ask me?" Y/n questioned and looked at Charlie. "I thought of it when I saw Dean flirting with you, and I realised that I never actually asked you to be my girlfriend" Charlie added to the question Y/n had just asked, Y/n giggled and looked at him "Well, I would like that. And now we are pranksters together" Y/n joked and waved goodbye to Charlie before she sat down with her Gryffindor friends. "You have to tell us everything!" Roxanne enthused, but she was the only one that managed to see what was really going on. "I don't understand what Roxanne is talking about, but I wanna know too" James said and joined in the conversation, but Y/n laughed at James, however she shook her head "it's nothing really" Y/n didn't want to tell anyone anything while being in the great hall, she wanted to wait until she was alone. Just the girls.
