I was just walking through the school, holding my stuff, trying to get to my next class, when, suddenly I bump into 'The Prince'. I grunt and all my stuff falls to the ground. I stand up and snap at him, "Hey! Watch where you're going would you!" I crouch to pick up my stuff but instead I'm eye to eye with a rat. I scream and stand up suddenly, dropping all my stuff to the ground again.The rat puts a paw to its face and shakes its head, muttering something. I stare at the rat, wondering where Yuki went and why his clothes are on the ground. The rat suddenly disappears in a poof. In its place is Yuki, and naked. I quickly turn away and wait for him to change back into his clothes. Then I finally hear in Yuki's soft voice, "You can turn around now Miss Tochigi." I shyly turn around to a fully dressed Yuki, "Um.. Sorry about that..." He smiles and replies, "No worries. Although I'm going to have to ask you to come to my house after school today" I lift the corner of my mouth in a half-smile, "S-Sure." I bend over to pick up my books, then I quickly scurry to class.
Classes went by quickly and uneventfully, and before I knew it, I was waiting outside the school for Yuki. Yuki, Tohru, and Kyo walk outside the school. When Yuki sees me, he frowns slightly but it quickly disappears and is a smile again, "Ah, Miss Tochigi, nice to see you" My face is stone-like as I reply, "You too Yuki" Kyo stomps up to Yuki, "Who the hell is this?" He yells. I bring my hand up to slap him in the face but Tohru interrupts, "No need to fight! I'm Tohru. Nice to meet you!" She says hurriedly then bows. I bow also and reply, "I'm Miu. And who might your friend over there be?" I point to Kyo, who is glaring at me. "Oh. That's Kyo. He can be a bit grumpy, so don't mind him" She says back to me then looks to Kyo and smiles brightly. He grumbles out a hello. Hmm... I think, An odd bunch."Well," Yuki interrupts all the introductions, "Shall we get going?" He smiles and we nod, everyone except for Kyo that is. "Wait a minute! She's coming?" He exclaims, "So she knows?" Yuki sighs, "She saw me transform, I was going to have Hatori erase her memories" Kyo calms down, "Sounds like fun" My eyes widen for moment, Erase my memories?, I think, then my face returns to its normal stoniness. "Right, so let's go!" Tohru says, overly happy, and we all start off. Soon enough, we're at the Sohma's house, A pretty nice place, I think as I look it over. Tohru shouts into the house, "Shigure! We're home! And we have a guest!" He pokes his head out and asks, "A guest?" He looks to Yuki. They exchange a glance then he nods and goes back inside the house. Wonder what that was about, I think, but my thoughts are interrupted by Tohru, "Come on in!" She grabs my wrist and pulls me inside, "Sit down, I'll make some tea." She walks off into the kitchen and I sit down at the table. I look around the place and think, It's much nicer than where I live. Tohru walks back in with a couple cups of tea, interrupting my thoughts once again. She sets the tea down then sits across from me. Shigure pokes his head in and says to Yuki, who's sitting next to Tohru, "He'll be here as soon as he can" Yuki nods and Shigure retreats to his room. We retreat to an awkward silence. "So, how'd you find out?" Tohru tries to break the silence with the starting of a conversation. I stare at my tea and answer, "I bumped into him in the hallway." I try to end the conversation by answering with a single sentence but Tohru won't give up, "So what's your favorite Zodiac animal?" I look up suddenly from my tea, not expecting that question, "Um... I guess the rooster" I answer uncertainly. Tohru's eyes brighten, "Really? That's amazing! Why do you like the rooster?" She inquires. I reply simply but quietly, "Because it flies." Kyo snickers and tries to hide it, "Figures. Flying. That's the only reason people even like birds" I stand up and glare down at Kyo, "So what?" Kyo stands up too, now glaring down at me, shouts, "You want a fight? I can give you a fight!" "Alright then! Let's fight!" I stomp outside, grinning. Kyo follow after me and slams the door closed, breaking it. "Try not to break the house!" Shigure yells out to us. We stand, facing each other while Tohru looks back and forth between us repeating, please don't fight. Yuki just stands there, looking amused. Kyo throws a punch but I duck, making him miss, then trip him. I look down at him, face-flat in the dirt and ask smugly, "So, what's your opinion now?" He scrambles to his feet, "My opinion still hasn't changed!" He jumps up to the roof and sits there, glowering at me. I laugh then turn to Yuki and Tohru, "So who's this person who's supposed to erase my memory?" Someone says from behind me, "An impressive performance. I assume you're the one who saw Yuki transform?" I turn to face him, and bow, "I am Miu Tochigi. Nice to meet you sir. I'm guessing you're the one who's supposed to erase my memory?" "So they've explained it already?" He asks. I nod, "Somewhat. I'll see how it works" I walk inside and sit back down at the table, everyone else follows. "This shouldn't hurt too much" He says to try to reassure me, it doesn't work though. "I'm sure it won't" I concentrate really hard on one thing: a crow. I disappear in a burst of air, but I was not gone, simply in the air. "Where'd she go?!" Tohru exclaims as she looks around frantically. Yuki, and Hatori simply stare at the place where I was. Nothing is there, no clothes, just air. "Now It's time I make my exit. Give me my things in class, alright?" They all look up to the source of the voice and Tohru tries to gather her thoughts, "She's a bird! So she's a member of the zodiac? But that's not any zodiac I know..." "H-How?" Those are the only words that came out of Yuki's mouth. "I'll explain after school tomorrow. See ya!" I fly out of the window and away to a perch to gather my thoughts. A couple crows fly up and join me. I think, Well that wasn't supposed to happen! What was I thinking showing them that I'm a bird. Now what's Kazumi going to say!
