We strolled over to a park bench near the front of the buildings. The road was only 100m away so I guess it was easy to skip school. I sat down worried that Tina's friends might not like me. The brown bench had graffiti scared on the table and it started to wobble when someone moved. Tina opened her tuna can. I hate the smell of fish. It suits with you for the rest of the day.
"Izy, this is Emma and Clayton."
I smiled at them shyly not knowing what to say. I grabbed my cold sandwich and nibble at it. Juicy lettuce and hard boiled egg. Mhm mhm.
"Hey, you're the new girl right?" Emma finally asked.
"Yeah."
"But you're like really pretty," she looked at Tina with sharp eyes.
"Umm thank you," I smirked.
"Argh, I have gym next. I can't ever fit into my pants. They're all too small!" Complained Emma biting into her chocolate cookie.
"You could borrow mine," I budded in, looking at her size, "Well mine are too big on me..."
"Really?"
I nodded.
"Eek," she squealed as her curly pony tail bobbed up and down. She had a freaky face that amused me. Her size was larger than most others, but she was gorgeous.
Clayton was sighing as Tina rested on him shoulder laughing and talking to him about what the other girls were wearing. He looked at me once with a face of, "get me out of here." His hair was pushed back and brown and when he stood next to Tina, they looked perfect.
A gentle breeze flowed as smells of petrol floated around the buildings. The bang buzzed and I quickly gulped the last piece of bread into my mouth, nearly choking.
.
I slipped my old orange school bag over one shoulder and walked down the school stairs. When I reached out side, the cool breeze had chilled everyone and I saw girls huddling into their boyfriends to keep warm. I held my shirt tightly and ran towards the bus.
"Hey, Izy, wait up," Josh yelled behind me.
I spun around nearly twisting my ankles and put on a puzzled face.
"Hey, what's up?"
"Chloe. We're gonna go to her house and chuck toilet paper all through her yard tonight," he proudly announced.
"Haha, won't you get in trouble?"
"She won't care."
"Her parents might."
I couldn't win this argument. His head was already full of stupid ideas to get a girl's attention.
"I think you're going a little too far to get her attention. Don't you agree?"
"Nup. Wanna come?" He smiled evilishy.
Behind him from a distance I saw Chloe storming up near us. He face was red like tomatoes and her hair was poofy.
"Umm ok," I ran to the bus door and jumped on.
"It's at 23 Kardashian Avenue, 6:30," he yelled.
