"We thank Nora Seduri for saving the base four times now. She has shown bravery in her actions and might even be the best agent we've had so far. Agent Seduri, I present to you 5,000 kyros. Use them well. Thank you!"
Nora Seduri stood next to the podium almost completely emotionless. This was her normal routine. She would go through hell, assassinate anybody, and even kill herself to save Revenge Assassination Organization. She's been in here for only a mere year, her anniversary for staying here was 3 solid days away. She waved as she saw the thousand agents clap, and she slowly closed her eyes. She heard their thoughts.
"She's so good at this."
"Not a scratch on her."
"This job is hard..."
"I can save the base too! She's not special."
"Agent Seducer is so overrated! Stupid ceremony..."Nora smirked at the last one. That was a new nickname. Commander always looked after her since the very moment she got here. Agent Seduri appreciated him, he was great with plans, good with gear, and gave Nora daily missions. Barely took more than a day, and she has 80,000 kyros. She walked off the stage and walked back to her camp, Lunatic.
Lunatic was for agents who had more than 50,000 kyros, so not many people were in the camp. There was a snob named Agent Clarity, who gave her the new nickname. Although she was merciless on being nice to Nora, she loved training with her. Even if she did lose. There was Agent Jake, who was rarely in the camp, he loved being out and sneaking out the organization he plans to assassinate. And the other girl was Agent E. She kept a lot of secrets and she didn't speak a lot, but she was the only person who had more kyros than Nora, ahead by 3,000.
Nora looked at herself in the mirror. Those 3 could be great friends if she didn't push them away. She locked herself in the bathroom, and sobbed as quietly as she could.
After getting ready for bed, Nora looked at the photograph of her motivations. Her reasons. Her very boost to keep going no matter what goes on with her physically or mentally.
Trina.
Trina was Nora's bestest friend. Trina was always there for her when pain rised. Trina was the only one who believed her when Nora told everyone she thinks she's being stalked. As soon as they were so close to solving Nora's life mystery, she was assassinated the night she went back home.
Trina opened her walls that she put up for so long. And now, she's gone.
Nora almost started crying again. She missed Trina so bad. She wished she could she how far she's come in only a year. Most of her risks were for her. And they will continue to be for her.
She put the photograph back and looked up to see Clarity above her. "Hey, Agent Seducer, hurry up and go the hell to sleep. I'm sure tomorrow you'll get more kyros for saving the base again soon, you selfish moron."
Clarity turned off the lights and climbed into bed. Nora sighed, Clarity seemed to be really tired today. She tucked herself in, took a deep breath, and fell asleep crying again.
