Behind the door is a void. Nothing lies behind it. There's always those stupid people who jump in for 'fun'. It's quite funny until they never come back. It's not always a choice to go in. Being pushed and thrown in there were some cases, but most people now open the door and jump because their unsatisfied.
The door is mahogany with ancient engravings. It's been there since life began, but it's never been destroyed no matter how hard people try.
People sometimes go in the middle of life and death. It's kinda like purgatory, but they are still living. This is called limbo. When people are in limbo, their soul comes out of their bodies and the bodies have to carry it because the soul is depressed and can't go on.
It's a little sad because some people who were in limbo go to the door. It's possible to survive and come back to life and become happy again, but it may take years.
If you are not sure if the door is actually a void, then open the door an wave your leg and arm around. All you will hear is the swish of being pulled down. Some people say curiosity killed the cat. I say this is true because opening the door is one step closer to death.
