Nobody

Allison

Everybody thought she was mute and emo and just plain weird. The latter might be it, but who isn't strange, in their own way?

Her name was Selene Gonzalez, and she had long black hair, with black eyes to match.

She never talked to anyone, not since the accident two years ago. Her parents were driving home and they were pulling in the driveway when a truck suddenly slammed out of control, and straight into them. Ariel saw it all; she was awaiting their return eagerly from the front window facing the street.

All she did then was scream and cry. But nobody ever heard it because she lived with her ancient, deaf grandmother.

Even her grandmother seemed to ignore her. But Ariel was completely fine with that; she hated when people noticed she was upset.

Selene POV <333

I guess it all started the day that new kid came to our school. I instantly hated him. He was popular. He was handsome. Best of all, he went to my old school and we dated for a while. I loved him, and he broke my heart. I still love him.

His name is Jason Black, and he had the whole Justin Bieber hair going. Except his was black. I always found it ironic that his hair color was his last name. One of his eyes was green, the other blue. He was tall and still had his six pack going. He had very muscular arms.

I was in shock when I saw him. It was lunch, and I was sitting alone, like I always had.

And when he stopped and stared at me for twenty seconds, my heart stopped beating.

I froze, hoping he wouldn't recognize me. I mean, I even died my hair purple, and cut it to my shoulders. It used to go to my ribcage, and he used to always run his hands through it gently.

When he looked away, I was relieved to hear his friends tell him about me.

"Her name is Sienna Gomez," I told everyone that so if anyone were to find out about me, they wouldn't know it was really me. "She's just this freaky emo kid. She always is alone. I don't know what her problem is." And he shrugged.

Later that day, after school, Jason followed me home. But I didn't let him know that I knew that I knew he was there.

When I finally turned down the street with Grandmama's house at the end, he caught up to me.

"Wait! Sienna!" I turned around with a huff.

"What?!" I ask. It was the first time I had spoken in over two years.

"Do I know you?" And at that I burst out crying.

      He looked awfully surprised.

"I come here to get some peace and quiet and you, of all people, come here to ruin my life! Again!"

"Why did you do this, Selene?"
