"Alright nap time" Alison sighed after chasing the baby boy around the house.
"Mmm" Nathan hummed pointing his index finger at his puckered lips.
"Aww that's sweet" she responded before pecking his tiny lips. "But it's still nap time" she said placing him down on the bed.
After watching his mom turn to get his pajamas Nathan stood on the bed before continuously jumping up and down.
"Ma ma Pway?" He asked jumping up one last time prior to plopping down on the Mattress.
"No, Nate it's not play time" she cut off the 1 year old that was now trying to sing his little heart out to his favorite song You're Welcome from the movie Moana. "Nathan stop it" Alison tried to get him to stop but he continued to play with a huge smile on his face.
"Nathan, listen to mama" Emily spoke from the doorway making the baby stop. "Sit down and get ready for bed" she finished causing him to do as she said while now frowning.
"I had it" Alison turned to tell her. "Thanks though" she added in before lying their son down and placing him under his blanket after putting on his pjs. "Okay buddy, we'll see you when you wake okay?" She asked pecking his forehead and turning out the lights.
After leaving the door cracked a bit Alison made her way past Emily and back down to the den to clean up some. She and Nathan had been playing pirates for at least an hour prior to his nap time which meant that things got a little messy.
Emily slowly trailed behind waiting for the blonde to snap on her and create a whole new argument but Alison didn't speak. She just continued to clean in silence.
"Alison" Emily called but her wife ignored her. "Ali" she lowly said barely above a whisper while gently grabbing onto her arm bringing her to a stop.
"What do you want, Emily?" Alison stubbornly asked now looking at the brunette from the corner of her eyes.
