The crew watched the dinner cooking on the stove with pale complexions.
Was this it? Was this the moment (Y/N) was going to poison them all?

"It... Looks good?" Shachi commented while Bepo covered his delicate nose.

"It looks like death." Ikkaku deadpanned as she stepped away from whatever was inside the pot.

Penguin nodded while using a pair of tongs to close the lid from a safe distance. "Seems like she's really out of it."

It had been a few days since they've seen their captain, with Bepo being the only one allowed to bring him food, and they all had noticed (Y/N) getting worse by each day.

At first, she had just been close to mistaking salt for sugar and on other occasions she would space out, resulting in the food getting burnt.

But now it seemed that she paid zero attention to anything and the crew feared it would sooner or later result in their deaths.

"Well, since disturbing Captain is out of the question, how about we take her out for the day? Cheer her up?" Bepo suggested.

A hiss from the stove caught the others' attention and they nodded frantically. "Lets."

"Where are we going?" (Y/N) asked, half dragging her feet after the group while adjusting her hat and sunglasses.

A day out had been a good idea when they had found her just lying on the captains' bed with a tight grip on his pillow without acknowledging their presence.

They made it their mission to cheer her up and had to practically drag her out of the room.

Not really caring, she didn't put up much of a fight and got dressed as they had asked.

"You'll see!" Bepo smiled and patted her on the back while the others looked around for any places to get food.

She chewed on her bottom lip when her anxiety started to creep up on her. As much as she wanted to appreciate them planning a whole day with her, a part of her couldn't help but worry. She's hung out with them before, but this was the first time that they had initiated it and she couldn't ignore the suspicion.

At least on the submarine, she knew Law was close and would step in if things got out of hand.

Now she was on her own and she knew that no matter what happened she would never hurt his crew, even if it would be in self-defense.

The group decided to split up and left (Y/N) with Bepo since he knew where they were supposed to meet up after everyone was done.

After walking for around 20 minutes, they stopped at a small field right by a hill with a view of the ocean.

Grinning widely, Bepo opened his backpack and got out the large blanket, blushing when (Y/N) had complimented his knitting. It was yellow with black edges and had the Heart Pirates jolly roger in the middle.

"So we're just going to sit out here?" she asked while looking out at the ocean smiling, enjoying the light breeze and the smell of saltwater.
