It was only a little while since Dean had been taken by Michael, when Dean had said yes to being possessed by Michael if it meant that he could save me, Jack, Sam, Amara, Aiden and Brandon from Lucifer. Since we had brought survivors from over in the Apocalypse World into our world to keep them safe from Michael, but now that Michael was in this world, possessing Dean, and Lucifer was dead, and Jack didn't have his grace, and Aiden and Amara were still linked and affected by the Mark of Cain since I had been pregnant with them when I had the mark, and they continued to get darker and darker even though Brandon, Cas, Mary and I tried to help them fight it as much as we could, Aiden and Amara were continuing to get darker because they were so worried about getting Dean, their father back, and it was driving them insane, though we could mostly keep it under control for now.

Now, in the bunker at night, survivors from Apocalypse World were preparing their weapons when Sam, Aiden, Amara, Brandon and I got back.

Mary saw us, walking closer. "Sam."

"Hey, Mom," Sam told her.

Sam and Mary embraced.

Mary embraced me. "Hey, Ness."

"Mary," I replied.

Mary embraced her grandchildren. "Aiden. Amara."

"Hey, Grandma," Amara told her.

"Missed you, too," Aiden told her.

Mary nodded to Brandon. "Brandon."

"Mary," Brandon replied.

"How was Atlanta?" Mary asked.

"It was, uh..." Sam trailed off, sighing. "It was a bust. The woman who claims she saw an 'angel' was..." He snorted. "Let's just say I think she had one too many hits of the brown acid, you know?"

Aiden and Amara were frustrated and trying not to lash out, which all of us noticed and were very concerned about.

"Aiden, Amara, we're gonna find him," I told them. "Ketch is working that thing in London. Cas is in Detroit. Rowena is trying to find a spell in the Book of the Damned that can break the link between you two so you don't have to continue to get darker and lose control, so... I know it's been three weeks since Dean..." I hesitated, taking their hands to calm them down. "Something will break. It has to."

Amara nodded. "Yeah. Yeah, you keep saying that."

Aiden yawned.

"Have you slept, at all?" I asked. "Aiden, you need to rest. Go and lay down."

Aiden rolled his eyes. "Mom, you can stop worrying about us. Amara and I are fine."

Sam chuckled. "It's a mother's job to worry, Aiden. And Ness knows what you and Amara are going through with the darkness you're feeling because she felt it, too when she had the mark, and it nearly destroyed her when she was pregnant with you two. Of course she's gonna worry more than any other mother."

"Thanks, Sam," I told him sarcastically.

A man walked up to us. "Hey."

"Hey," Brandon told him.

"Good to have you back," the man told us.

"Thanks," Brandon told him.

"Don't thank us yet," the man told us. "Word is we got some vamps heading east on I-90. Gipsy types. Picking off truckers mostly."

"Last body got drained and dropped just outside La Cross six hours ago," another man explained.

I nodded. "Okay. Um, all right. Get me teams of two. I want watch points every 50 miles. If you see something, say something."
