(This is me by the way) Presley and Brady are my best friends on the team, we're all in the same age group that's how we became friends, I can talk to Presley about girl stuff like clothes, boys, makeup, the newest hairstyle and I can talk to Brady about any problems I have with the other dancers in the team, the mums are jealous of Brady because he gets all of Miss Abby's attention, I'm not jealous, I don't mind he gets all the attention, that's because Miss Abby is trying to make him a better dancer, In pyramid Brady's always on the left side of me and Presley's on my right with our mums behind us, My best styles of dance are contemporary and lyrical I love to do turns a lot so in those styles I can do turns, my worst style of dance is tap, I just hate the sound of tapping shoes on the floor, it gives me headaches a lot.
Brady's POV It's the second week of competition and today Miss Abby gave us assignments, Savannah and lily are going head to head with solos, while Sophie and I are going head to head with solos as well, it's fine after all we're best friends and we're not jealous of one wins and one loses, well everyone expects me to win because I'm Miss Abby's favourite. Sophie is so pretty, I like her a lot so I hope she likes me back
Sophie's POV I think I like Brady as more then a friend, I'm not sure, I'm going to talk to Presley about this maybe she can help me, "Hey Presley" I said to her as I walked into studio B the next day after pyramid, Brady was rehearsing his solo so he can't talk to me which is good because I need to talk to Presley in private, "Hey Sophie" she said to me, it was just the two of us in studio B, "Umm Presley can I ask you something?" I said to her as I sat down next to her to warm up, "Yeah sure what is it?" "How can you tell if you like someone?" "Usually you're blushing red around them or your feeling butterflies in your stomach, why do you ask?" "Can I tell you something?" "Yeah" "I think I like Brady" "Awww, Sophie likes Brady!" "Shhh, I don't want anyone to know and Brady to not know" "Why?" "Well I'm not sure if he likes me back or not" "Don't worry if he does I can tell" "Thanks Presley your the best"
Time skip to competition day Today is competition day and today my solo is up first it's lyrical, it's called they'll never change

It's contemporary and he's really good, when we go back into the dressing room everyone expects him to win and me to come second to him, we then get ready for the group and it's called haka
We performed and the audience loved it It was time for awards
Lily's solo came second and Savannah's solo came first in their solo age category, now it's time for mine and Brady's solo age category
Brady's POV They have announced all the placements for the overalls for my solo age category so far, "In second overall we have Brady with ptsd" i accepted my award and I got second overall and Sophie hasn't been called yet "And your overall first place winner of the 12-14 solo category is Sophie with they'll never change" everyone clapped for her as she accepted her award and she stood next to me and the group won, we were waiting to head back into the dressing room and Miss Abby zoomed past us to the judges table and she spoke to a lady and we're all thinking she's trying to change the scores on mine and Sophie's solos when we got back into the dressing room, I whispered to my mum "Miss Abby's trying to change the scores" when Miss Abby came back in to the dressing room the mums have a argument about her trying to change the scores, Sophie then said as she as she pulled her now loose hair and she grabbed her coat "Excuse me I'm stepping outside for a few minutes" Sophie then ran out of the room and I dropped my solo award and I ran after her grabbing my coat as well "Brady!" My mum said but I ran after Sophie and I found her around the corner of our dressing room upset "Hey, what's the matter?" I asked her "I'm upset that I'm not a good dancer and that she tried to switch our solo scores" "You are a good dancer and she's just jealous that I didn't win, besides I don't care losing to you, you are an amazing dancer and I like you" "You really do?" "Yeah, I do" "I like you too Brady, I'm I was too scared that you wouldn't like me back in this way" "So, would you like to my girlfriend?" "Yes" we then held each other's hands as we walked back into the dressing room smiling at each other.
