I'd successfully ignored Mark for two. days. straight.
That's kind of a big feat for me and all, considering that I'm rather obsessed with him. Of course, he doesn't seem to have noticed-he doesn't notice much, actually.
He's gathered that I'm not talking to him, of course. He'd asked me about sixteen questions that day after he'd played that [heartbreaking] trick on me, all of which I'd ignored while looking straight in front of me with a straight face.
I was getting good.
Of course, he'd also mindlessly texted me. I was now actually feeling good about ignoring him. It was definitely getting him to talk to me more.
Today was day three of my 'Mark Ignoring Process' (ignore the stupid name), known as MIP for short. I was determined to make it through the day without talking to him.
How will this go?
*
"My PSLE is tomorrow, my PSLE is tomorrow..." I freaked to Gayatri, who was sitting next to me with a bored expression on her face.
"Oh, really? Well, my PSLE is tomorrow too!" she exclaimed, a sarcastic grin splayed across her face. I noticed Mark staring at her from the back of the classroom and felt jealousy erupt within me...again. This whole thing was too much for me to handle.
"Oh ha ha, very funny," I rolled my eyes.
"What's with Mark?" Gayatri asked. "He's staring at you with weird expression on his face..."
I turned to see that, yes, Mark was looking at me with a why-aren't-you-talking-to-me expression.
I turned back. I knew that if I turned around again, I would end up talking to him again.
End of MIP. It dies. That can't happen.
*
A paper bullet hit me in the back of the head. "Ow! Who did that?" I turned, eyes roaming for the person I could accuse.
...
I don't want to accuse Mark. He's staring at me like he might explode.
I decided to ignore the whole thing. Even though the bullet hurt like hell.
MIP shall stay.

Portrayal of Angela/Qi Yan as a wimp is not intentional. Sorry. This story is very AU as Mark, while he may be really as/much stupider than his portrayal here, did not play this kind of prank on Qi Yan. This story is mostly fictional. I just used Qi Yan, Mark and Gayatri, among maybe others, as a part of this story. I don't want to include myself. It'll be awkward. And most of my conversations with Qi Yan and Gayatri are useless, and usually I try to kill Mark like five times a day.
All I'd like to focus on here is Mark and Angela's relationship. :)
