A Fish in the Sea

Irene's POV

"Ice make: Battle Axe!"

The now shirtless man chanted. He made a double sided ice axe out of the air, the same way Hiraku-sama has. That would mean this man was also a make wizard. But Hiraku had to win, "GO, HIRAKU-KUN!" I scream out to my guildmate. It was very embarrassing to act that way towards him in public but he needed support. Seishin-san even said that there would be two people on him. And if he asks about it I can play it off by saying I was supporting a guild member! No, bad mind! Like Akira-chan said, I have to me proud to feel this way towards him.

"GO, GRAY-SAMA" a random woman calls out to the two clashing. How could she call him 'sama' so easily? That wasn't the important part... who was this woman? Dressed in different shades of blue with white fur strips. Blue eyes, blue hair, a blue guild mark of her exposed pale-skinned thigh. She looked just like me!

The woman wraps her fingers around each other and then closes her eyes. "Gray-sama is so dreamy like this." she says in a dreamy voice. Her man may've been handsome or whatever, but he wasn't as handsome as our Hiraku! I shake her arm and she looks at me with a clueless face. "No! Hiraku-sama is dreamier!"

She lets out a short pout.

"Juvia thinks Gray-sama looks better!" she explains, pressing her forehead to mine

"Hiraku-sama!"

"Gray-sama!"

"Hiraku-sama!"

The bluenette pulls back from my face and puts on her clueless face again. She stares at me in an awkward silence. She's weird! "You're the person Juvia is looking for!" she yells pointing a finger at me. "You're in Black Hydra!" Actually, I recongnized this woman. She was on one of Hiraku-kun's magazines. "You're in Fairy Tail?!" I half ask half scream

We both get up at the same time. We both hop back, the same space, and the same speed. Our stances were the same. How could we be so much alike?

"The master and Mira-san said I had to fight you" she said. "They said you were Irene, the water dragon slayer in Black Hydra and said that you would be perfect for Juvia". If they had to talk about their targets then, did they intend to defeat us? To go to war with us? Was their whole attack planned?

Before I let my thoughts get the best of me I had to act. "Water Spout of the Serpant!' a huge beam of water shoots out of my mouth. "Water Nebula" a spiral beam of water comes out of her hands. The two shots of water collide and hold each other in the same spot. The droplets shot everywhere making it feel like a sprinkler. Our magic cancles out the other and both of us takestep forward, unscathed.

"Water Dragons Brine Fist" my right hand gets covered in a jet of water. The other water Mage doesn't move out of the way of the attack. That just made it easier, the strongest water mages had to be slayers! We could use any water for ourselves while wizards like this woman could only use their own water.

I aim for the center of her chest which was the biggest part of her. The force should've been enough to send her far away. But my fist goes through?!

It comes out clean on the other side. "Juvia's body is made of water" she demonstrates by turning her whole body into the liquid an getting away from my hand. "Physical attacks and water have no effect on Juvia"

She points her palm to me. "Water Lock". A dome of pure water covers me. Was she trying to drown somebody who had water dragon slayer magic?

I drink through the water lock by opening my mouth and inhaling once. The amount of water that would usually cause somebody's stomach to explode mixes with my magic power turning it into concentrated magic energy

When I look around the water woman is above me. "Water Slicer" a thin slice of water shoots out to me. Now that I felt refreshed I can do the impossible like dragon slayers are supposed to.

The water blade gets close enough in touching range and that's when I clap the two sides. It still moves with power but I don't let it slip through my hands. My feet scrape against the ground just trying to stop it. I press my mouth to the side and inhale and like that the slicer disappears

She looks at me with a troubled look. "Water doesn't effect me either" I said wiping my mouth with the back of my hand

"Juvia-san's body is made of water, right?" I ask

"Y-yes..."

A genius idea comes to my head. I bet even Seishin would praise me for it! "Then why don't I..." Her water was fresh. I bet she would be delicious. "Why don't I drink you!"
