No, you definitely put milk in first.

Minho's words made Jisung squint in disgust. What did he get himself into? It had only been a day and Minho was already showing signs that he was the devil incarnate.

As Jisung began typing a witty response proving him wrong, the three little dots saying Minho was typing popped up. Jisung deleted his draft, expecting a second message. He waited a few seconds only for the dots to jump ship. Instead of his witty response, he sends a worried text.

Are you okay?

Yeah, of course. Why wouldn't I be? :)

Jisung withdrew a heavy breath. As someone who was a common type-then-regret-because-you-don't-want-to-be-a-burden person, he knew Minho's intentions. But again, he knew Minho probably didn't want to express his feelings so early in a friendship.

Just had to make sure. Anyway, you're completely wrong. Cereal then milk.

He rolled over on his bed so he was staring at his ceiling littered with glow in the dark stars. They didn't quite glow as they used to, but the low green illumination gave Jisung the same security it did when he was younger.

When he was younger and had nightmares, his mother would point to the biggest star, right above his head, and whisper, "That one right there holds my love for you. So never lose sight of it, okay?"

He smiled up at the only star that seemed to glow brighter than the others. Blindly, he swiped around for his phone to send Minho one last text before he inevitably fell asleep.
