Countless of kind of elements throughout the world... but there are 2 who rules all of them. Life and Death.
For countless of eons and eras, both are born separately. Either Life was born first or Death.
For the world to know what are the roles of these people.

Rank E, the Starters. These people have elementals but they are new to them. They are either unstable or very weak.
Rank D and C. These people are still learning the arts and they are still perfecting it.
Rank B. These people can go to wars and they protect the country. They are both Experiencing and Learning at the same time.
Rank A. These people are now defending and attacking countries. War-driven people who are at their final stage of the Common Elements.
Rank S. These people are the teachers for Common Elements and Uncommon Elements. The Captains and 2nd to the last stand of the Country's protectors.
Rank SS. These people are the guidance for both Common, Uncommon, or Rare Elements. The Principles of Power and the Generals of War. They are the last stand of the Country's protectors.
Rank SS+. Both Life and Death, the only Legendaries of all. They are the rarest of all kinds, and they are very secretive of each other that you might think they are either Common, Uncommon, and Rare Elements that they use.
There are also the Elemental Types.
The Common, Uncommon, Rare, and Legendary.
Common - Fire, Water, Air, Earth, Wood, and Lightning.
Uncommon - Lava, Ice, Nature, Sound, Poison, Paper, Metal, and Sand
Rare - Psychic, Control, Weapon Control, Puppetry, Dark, Light, and Multi-Elemental.
Legendary - Life and Death.
Common elementals only get 1 element, but they can learn another one, if he/she wants to risk.
Uncommon elementals can get 1 uncommon and 2 common elements, all inborn.
Rare elementals can get 1 rare element, 2 uncommon, and 4 common elements. Exception of Multi-Elemental where they learn every element.
Legendary elementals get every element there is, making them look like Multi-Elementals.
"Father, can you tell me the story of Life and Death?" Seungmin asked his father
"Sure thing, I will tell you on how Life and Death are our saviours."
"Grab a seat, Seungmin. Because this is a long story." His father sat on the chair and Seungmin sat at his front.
Life, the living embodiment of the various and diverse life in this planet. From the seeds in the ground up to the birds up above, Life made them become adventurous and curious of the world.
Death on the other hand is the living embodiment of the souls of the dead who have been unlucky to meet their demise
Both of these legendary couple are meant to be with each other. That is why, every century they are present.
But since 1937, both Life and Death died at a young age, making the world into a hopeless spiral.
Year 2000, both Life and Death were born at the same time. In the past, both Life and Death were born between 3-5 years, doesn't matter who was born first.
Both of them are so bonded that they can feel each other's presence when the other is near. Very bonded that if one of them gets hurt the other one gets the scar or bruise at the same spot.
Sacrificing would be helpless and would be a total fail... if one dies, the other one dies also.
People have been looking up to these people. For they balance everything...
"... And that, my dear Seungmin. I will protect you with all of my life, and I will never let the government take you." His father said.
"Am I really that special?" Seungmin asked.
"Yes... but the government has this new type of technology where it negates tradition. Elements now... as you can see, can be given to you at a price."
Seungmin's father grabbed Seungmin's chair and pulled it towards him.
"They are planning to get you... and Life..."
